it’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH…. KATHY RACOOSIN! and a chance to win!

Hiya sistahs!  This month we have another special guest !  Kathy Racoosin.. otherwise known as Kathy Rac otherwise known as The Daily Marker  on Instagram.

Today, Kathy features one of our amazing new releases, “CHICKADEER”

This is what our CHICKADEER STAMP AND BUNDLE SET LOOK LIKE..

chickadeereb417

Let’s see what the lovely and talented Kathy did with this image shall we?  You will be AMAZED!

Kathy stamped/coloured/ and die cut the image twice… and look what an amazing delicious adorable scene she created! I seriously CANNOT EVEN..

Wonderful Wednesdays With Kathy Rac on da blog- USING CHICKADEER rubber stamp!

The little extras on this card are super fun and easy. After coloring the chicks add some copic blending solution on to a rag …just until it’s damp, not to wet) I think you will love the texture that a nubby rag will add to your critters. Add dots to create more texture with your markers.

Using a super fine tip marker .03 you can add tiny details like eye lashes, eye brows and designs on the presents.

For the background I masked a circle and used distress inks fro draw the eye into the center of the card. The look was complete with a stencil on top of the distressed background.

Glossy accents were added to the noses.

Here’s a video sharing Kathy’s process!

and now for some more information on and about Kathy!

30daychallenge

Kathy LOVE’s to color and she’s in the middle of her 6th coloring challenge… “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge”.   This has become quite a “movement” if I do say so myself.  Sistahs take this challenge seriously and devote some crafty time every day to colour something up.  It’s SO much fun to participate in AND so much fun to scroll through the amazing posts and amazing talent out there!

Kathy says “This is a good time to jump in if you are new to the challenge, love to color or if you just want to get your feet wet and give the challenge a try. The idea is to color something daily with any medium. Just five minutes, that’s it. I keep hearing how relaxing it is to color and instead of making a full card. The 30 day challenge is really about carving out a little time your day for something that makes you happy. (You are free to jump in and out as time permits). Basically it’s any thing goes challenge and whatever you feel inspired to do.

There are several ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend our new FaceBook group or Instagram. Be sure to use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. (you can also link up your coloring on my blog)

Check out my blog for more info www.thedailymarker.com

I would be delighted if you wanted to join the challenge and a big thank you to Stamping Bella for the support to the challenge and the sweet giveaway. Hugs, Kathy

It’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH TAMABELLA!

Hey there, sistahs, Tamabella here with my last Wonderful Wednesdays’ project.  Thank you, sooo much, to Em for inviting me to be a Guest Designer!  I’ve had a blast stamping and coloring these amazing images!  Exciting news…we close on our new home later today!  I can’t wait to design my new crafty space!  It’s time to get organized so I can play with all of my goodies instead of looking for them.  I know I’m not alone there…can any of you relate???  LOL

Today’s card features the adorable Santa has a Prezzie.  Seriously…how sweet is that little guy?  Since I stayed with an easy CAS (Clean and Simple) layout, I decided to fussy cut and pop Santa up for a little extra interest.  He was stamped a second time onto the background panel to get all the curly cue details.  Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay was used on the fluffy part of his suit and the bow of the present.  I wish you can see how much they really sparkle!  A clear glaze pen was used for a nice, subtle shine on Santa’s belt buckle and shoes.

It’s Wonderful Wednesday with TAMABELLA!

Hey there, sistahs, I can’t believe it’s week 3 already…where has the time gone?  Sheesh!  So instead of a Tiny Townie, I went with those rascally chicks, you know the ones…they can’t seem to keep themselves out of trouble!  *grin*  Talk about fun to color!  You have to love those stress-free layouts when you just slap them together and they look fabulous…this is one of those!

here’s a closeup and the chicks I chose were the WIZARD, THE WITCH and the CAULDRON CHICKS

The great thing is that there are 3 chick characters in this set and they are all separate stamps so you can pick and choose which ones to use on your card to create your “scene”!

It’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH TAMMABELLA!-featuring tiny townie AUTUMN loves AUTUMN!

Hey there, sistahs…Tamabella here with another Wonderful Wednesdays project.  I’m so glad Em asked me to do this; I’ve been having so much fun coloring again!

Last week I shared with you my favorite season is fall.  With that said, have you seen the cutie-patootie, Tiny Townie Autumn Loves Autumn (whew…what a mouth full!) from the latest release?  *swoon*  She was sitting on my desk begging to be colored!  Really…I’m not kidding!  LOL  I went with an easy-peasy layout, because let’s face it, with an image like that you don’t need much of anything else!  Am I right!?!

it’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY WITH….. TAMMIE EDGERTON aka TAMABELLA!

Hey there, Tamabella (aka Tammie Edgerton) here.  I was really excited when Em invited me to be a Wonderful Wednesdays guest designer for the month of October.  I warned her up front I was pretty rusty, but she wanted me anyway!  LOL  My markers haven’t actually touched paper for about six months (I know, *gasp*).  Life just gets a little crazy sometimes.  Can any of you can relate?  Anyway, as I was trying to figure out what I wanted to color, I noticed I was following stamping royalty…none other than the amazing Sandy Allnock herself!  YIKES!  Absolutely NO pressure, am I right, sistahs!?!

So, as I tried to settle my nerves, I decided to go with my favorite season…fall!  I mentioned I haven’t colored in a while, but that hasn’t stopped me from adding rubbah to my crafty stash!  *wink*  I broke out Tiny Townie Patricia Loves Pumpkins.  Is she flippin’ adorable or what!?!  With that much cuteness going on, I decided to keep the layout fairly simple.  For details, including which Copic markers were used, please visit my blog, One Happy Stamper.

It’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH SANDY ALLNOCK!- how to colour a WOODEN FENCE and a MARKERGEEK TECHNIQUE!

Christmas Tug of War: Coloring a Wood Fence

Hello sistahs! It’s Sandy Allnock, back again for another guest month of coloring fun here on the Stamping Bella Blog….and since Christmas is coming (EEEP!), I’m launching a series all throughout the fall showing Christmas or winter backgrounds. The four Wednesdays this month, it’ll all be new releases from Stamping Bella!

Coloring a wood fence

When I open up a stamp set, I look at the images and ask the stamps to tell me what the setting is. Sometimes they do so right away – other times we “have a chat” while I’m coloring the image, then the scene takes shape. With Christmas tug of war, the critters were opening gifts outside – in the snowy yard. So I’ll show you how to make a fence! Watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.

Be sure to hop over to my blog to leave a comment to qualify to win this stamp set – I’ll announce a winner on Sunday!

It’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS with JENNY … ON SUNDAY!

Hello Sistahs!  It’s been such an awesome month guesting with you and I’m thrilled to be becoming an official BELLA on the Stamping Bella design team. I’m honored to be joining this fabulous group of ladies and I’m looking forward to getting to know them and share many more crafty creations with you!

So I saved my favorite for last. FAITH the FAIRY was the first Stamping Bella stamp I ever purchased and I have colored her many times over. I think this version might be my favorite. That could be because green is my favorite color or because this card is soooo sparkly!

wonderful wednesday with JENNY- HOW TO MAKE A SUPER SPARKLY CARD

I just have to share a close up of the details. After the main layers and shading were down, I used some Copic Spica glitter pens and dotted them all over her dress. It’s hard to see in the photos but in real life it looks like tons of rhinestones cover her dress. I also used a white gel pen to add a few more dots and “sparkles” so it would look like the light was hitting them. This really adds some dimension to the dress. For more details on what supplies I used and how I created this card, pop on over to my blog: www.owlbecrafty.blogspot.com
