it’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH Michelle Short AKA the CARD GROTTO!

Hello there, Michelle here and I am delighted to be sharing another card with you today. My card uses the adorable Especially For You Petunia stamp set. I just love Petunia! She is always so happy! 🙂

wonderful wednesdays with Stamping Bella- RUBBER STAMP USED: ESPECIALLY FOR YOU PETUNIA, CARD BY MICHELLE SHORT

I started off by stamping Petunia on to a circle of cardstock that I cut using a stitched circle die. The image was then coloured using Copic Markers, adding in a little blue for sky. I took the sentiment from the Kitty & Mousie set and with a bit of masking, I stamped the ‘happy’ and ‘birthday’ on to a piece of black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. The sentiments were then cut in to strips.

I took a piece of patterned paper and cut this using a pierced square die. This was added to a white 5.25” x 5.25” card base with tape runner. I then added the image circle on top with foam tape, as well as the sentiment pieces. I love combing different sets and Stamping Bella sets go so well together. Thank you so much for popping by today, see you next Wednesday! I hope you have a great day!

Thank you Michelle!!!

A big welcome to Michelle short again this week 🙂  Check out her full blog post HERE

Hello there, Michelle here and I am delighted to be back on the blog sharing a card using the beautiful Tiny Townie Fairy Garden Fairy House. It looks so magical, I can just imagine the fairies living in it in the middle of the woods!

Stamping Bella WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH: Rubber stamp used: Tiny Townie Fairy Garden Fairy house.. card by Michelle Short

For my card, I started off with a panel of white cardstock cut it using a stitched rectangle die. I stamped the house on to this using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then stamped the sentiment in the top left. I always stamp my sentiments before colouring in case I mess them up! The whole image panel was then coloured using Copic Markers.

I simply added the panel on to a white A2 card base with foam tape. To finish off, I added dots of glitter pen to the flowers and Crystal Glaze to the windows. Thanks so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a great rest of the day!

Thanks so much. I hope you like the cards! I will be back soon with my other two 🙂

it’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS with MICHELLE SHORT aka THE CARD GROTTO!

Hello there, Michelle here,  and I am delighted to be back guesting with Stamping Bella this month. I have had so much fun creating my cards this month and I cannot wait to share them with you! My first card uses the Tiny Townie Mermaid Set.

Stamping Bella rubber stamp: MERMAID set, card by MICHELLE SHORT

I started off by stamping the mermaid and seaweed/plants in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on to a piece of white cardstock. The panel was then coloured using Copic Markers. After seeing Michele Boyer use two colours on her mermaid tail, I had to give it a go myself. I love how it turned out. Isn’t she just so pretty?!

The sentiment, from the Under The Sea Sentiments Set, was stamped in the top right hand corner and then the panel was added to a white card base with foam tape. As you can see, it is a really simple card but I love how the focus is on the image. Thanks so much for popping by today, see you next Wednesday 🙂

it’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH… JENNY DIX!

Hi it’s Jennifer here for Wonderful Wednesday. I had lots of fun  creating this card. The hardest part was choosing the colours, as I wanted  to create CHATTY SQUIDGY  in every colour!  I think I might just have to create a few more?

Today I have used the larger  rubber stamp in the Chatty Squidgy  set.  She is also

available as a “CUT IT OUT” die or as a BUNDLE (Rubber Stamp and “Cut It Out” Die) where you save 15% when purchased together!

First I coloured Chatty up using the following  Copic markers:

Face – E0000, E000, E00, E01, E11, R20

Hair – E40, E42, E43, E44

Belt, Shoes – C0, C01, C05, N07, N09

Phone – BG10, BG11, BG13, BG45

Dress, Ribbon, Soles of Shoes – Y11, Y15, Y18, YR23

To create this card,  I layered black card stock and a designer paper

on a white card base. Then, I cut out the Big Hello from MFT

on a layer the same size as the designer paper in white.

I then cut a scalloped edge with Wavy Scallop Stitches die from SSS.

I then covered the back with acetate and 3M tape around the whole section ,

and the “HELLO” to create a shaker card section.

I then popped sequins in it and covered the back with yellow

designer paper.

I put it all together and scattered some sequins around. I couldn’t fussy cut

around the phone cord so I replaced it with some really lovely  black thread.

It would have been so much easier if I had bought a “CUT IT OUT” die

at the start  ?.

Ssssh don’t tell but the other problem I had was that  I coloured her shoes too dark

so I restamped,  coloured, fussy cut and glued them on and they worked

beautifully because I was so happy with how the rest of her came out 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this card and Happy Crafting!

it’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS with MICHELLE SHORT AKA THE CARD GROTTO

Hello there, Michelle here and guess who cannot count? Yes, that is right! It is me! When I said last week that it was my final guest post, I hadn’t realised that May had five Wednesday’s in it. So yay! I get to share one more card with you! Today I am using the beautiful The Bunny Wobble and The Peony Stamp Set,  (CUT IT OUT DIE and BUNDLE available HERE ) along with the sentiment from Petunia Has A Party.

wonderful wednesdays with Stamping Bella -rubber stamp used THE BUNNY WOBBLE and the PEONY card by MICHELLE SHORT

I started off by stamping The Bunny Wobble and The Peony using black ink. I then stamped the sentiment beside her. I coloured her and the flower with Copic Markers, adding a little shadow behind her, as well as a ground for her to sit on.

I took a piece of coordinating patterned paper and added this to the front of an A2 white cards base. I then added the image panel on top with foam tape. To finish off, I added glitter to the flowers for that added sparkle.

A huge thanks to Em for having me back for one more week! And thank you so much for stopping by today!

It’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS with MICHELLE SHORT- THE CARD GROTTO!

Hello everyone! Michelle here and I am delighted to be back on the blog sharing a card using the fabulous Succulent Chicks stamp set. How adorable are those chicks? I love them!

These chicks also have their own “CUT IT OUT DIES” and if purchased in a bundle, you can save 15%

Wonderfuil wednesdays with Michelle Short- Rubber stamp used SUCCULENT CHICKS

I started off my card by creating a window piece for the chicks to be behind. I then took the sentiment from the Kitty & Mousie Celebrate A Birthday stamp set and stamped this below the windows. I had to do a little bit of masking/selective stamping to get just the ‘happy birthday’ piece that I wanted, but it was very easy to do. On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the Succulent Chicks so that they would be popping up behind the windows and then coloured them with Copic Markers.

I added the white image panel to an A2 yellow card base and then added the window piece on top with foam tape. It is a very simple card but I just love those adorable chicks! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a great day!
