Here’s a little bio about Melanie

“Hello, my name is Melanie Blackburn and I live in beautiful Ottawa, Canada with my husband, Daniel, and our beautiful daughters Danika and Brianna.  I’ve been scrapbooking since April 2005 and my main source of inspiration is my family.  I love everything about this hobby, from taking the perfect picture, to finding the perfect paper and preserving memories for the generations to come.  Scrapbooking is a method of relaxation for me, after a hectic day; I look forward to having some time to myself to create.  I am more of a “moment” scrapper as opposed to an “event” scrapper.  O wpi;d describe my style as eclectic with an accent on details.  I am very passionate about this hobby and I am thrilled to be desigining for Emily and to be a Bellarific Scrapping Babe!”

Now I will share a layout I worked on yesterday 🙂 .. it’s of my little Jayden.

I love mixing papers.. used Jillibean soup, Basic Grey Nook and Pantry and Bella Boulevard.. Tim Holts mini film strip ribbon (LOVE IT) and Nook and pantry stitched brads, and GOLDIELOCKS baubles . Also used Hambly GOLD rubons and of course, the PIECE de RESISTANCE, our CAPTURE THE MOMENTS stamp 🙂
