This week I decided to visit an old favourite, and because I had so much fun I’ll actually be doing a little series of the Tiny Townie Garden Girls using coloured pencils on kraft. You can watch my Tiny Townie Garden Girl Rose Coloured Pencil Video below to see how this stunning image came to life using Prismacolor coloured pencils.
Tamara here with you with my latest card for Stamping Bella Design Team. For this week I chose Tiny Townie Wonderland Mad Hatter rubber stamp. This is a fun image to colour since there’s a lot of different stuff to colour and you can really play with different colours and patterns. For stamping I used Archival Ink – Jet Black. I find this one the best for colouring with watercolours, it dries quickly and it’s very black. For colouring I used 300 g HP (hot pressed) Fabriano artistico watercolouring paper (if you’re starting with watercolours, you’ll love this one).
Distress ink pads used for colouring: skin: vintage photo cheeks: worn lipstick hair: spiced marmalade hat, pants: rustic wilderness, black soot ribbon, coat, tea cup: villainous potion coat (pink part): picked raspberries shirt, shoes: barn door
Sentiment “You’re entirely BONKERS but I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are” comes from Alice in Wonderland sentiment set.
I made a shaker card. I cut out TEA letters and made that part as shaker. I added little diamonds, hearts and sequins. To finish off the card I added some white lines with white gel pen.
This week we’re showcasing some of the amazing stamps in our ANIMAL FRIENDS range. The Babes have created some beautiful cards as always, and you will find a video from me at the end of the post.
I’m very much into spring and flower themed images at the moment, must be all of the damp, grey weather we’re having here in the UK! You can watch my Cherry Blossom Branch Coloured Pencil Video below to see how this beautiful image came to life using Holbein Artist coloured pencils.
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to add this awesome stamp set to your collection, or if you already have it, to get creating and sharing!

It’s Scenic Saturday once again and today I’ve got an enchanting birthday card to share with you. This pretty Oddball Fairytale Princess is all dressed up for her special day as she strolls through the fields layed out before the Fairytale Backdrop.
The Backdrop stamps are always a great time saver when it comes to creating scenes for your characters. This time around I’ve manipulated the Fairytale Backdrop a bit because I didn’t want the castle to land in the middle of the card, directly behind the princess. So after stamping and masking her off, I first stamped the backdrop on the right hand side of the card, using the princess to hide where the scenery ended. I then shifted the stamp on my Misti stamp platform and stamped a small portion of the backdrop to her left as well. This way I still had the mountains and trees extending all the way across the card and with her mask removed, you would never know that it didn’t originally come that way. I also wiped the ink off the original path leading from the castle gates before stamping because I wanted to color in my own heading off in a different direction. I then proceeded to color in the scene using a mix of bright greens and pretty pastels, perfect for a princess themed birthday celebration. The sentiment I added to pull everything together is from the Princess Sentiment set and that was all I needed to complete this charming card. 🙂
This week the Babes have been playing with older stamps from the Stamping Bella store. It’s so easy to get caught up with the latest releases, but there are so many amazing stamps waiting to be discovered (or rediscovered). I love seeing which stamps the Babes choose to play with on these weeks too. So interesting!
Let’s dive in and check out all the fabulous crafty inspiration. You will find a video and full pencil list from me at the end of the post. Enjoy!
