i’ll be the first to comment, which means i won’t win… i have seen EVERY episode of survivor. yep – every single one. i’m addicted 🙂

  2. Dani B says:

I guess addiction to scrap and stamping wouldn’t really count. Ok,my secret that I hid from everyone…I have a thing for Christian Bale. I try to remain calm during the Batman movies, but inside I’m screaming! Oh, it’s a secret because I’m married with children. To a pastor. Can’t let the congregation know the pastor’s wife has secrets too! LOL!

  3. Karen says:

Truth Dare Double-Dare? Guess we’re going for Truth here! My secret is that I am a total ink ‘ho. First was the Hero Arts shadow inks, SU spots, then the pads, then the cats eyes, then the full size chalk pads, then Mementos and versafine, now it’s those uber-cool Nick Bantock inks and Distress inks. There is one redeeming feature to this dirty little secret – I use them all! I told you I was a colour ‘ho!

  4. janet r says:

Oh my secret….. my fave show every is Little House on the Prairie!! I have been watching it for days straight!! I have one more season to go. I know crazy for a metal chick to love a show like that:)
    hugs

  5. Anita C says:

Okay my secret is and I swear that if you tell anyone I will deny, deny, deny 😀
I am totally addicted to watching Big Brother. I have seen them all, I think it is one of the stupidest shows there is out there but I just have to watch it and I always take sides. There, I feel a little better now getting that into the open =)

  6. Delse says:

My secret is…….I’m addicted to the easy read, love story type, novels, like those done by Danelle Steele. I know how the plot lines of each one are pretty much the same, but I still have to be one of the first in line at the library to get each new one as it comes out. But I’d never tell anyone at work cuz they might think I’m a softie!

  7. Hmmmm, a secret noone knows….since I am pretty open, this one is hard..but I would say that I am obsessed with the smell of cleaning supplies. My favorite is Comet, to the point where I won’t keep it in the house so that I don’t go around sniffing it, seriously!! Sick huh!!

  8. Patty says:

Hmm… what should I give up here… I am a huge fan of Gilmore Girls the show, and I’ve secretly admired Lorelai (the main character’s clothes). So much so that I’ve actually dress like her many of times and randomly got compliments and take it as my own. 🙂

  9. Krista says:

OMG Emily, I seriously thought I was the ONLY person on earth that watches “DA JUDGES” as my kids call them. But my real secret is my addiction to Court TV. I watch court trials on tv if I can and tape if I am gonna miss them. I can’t wait for the Casey Anthony trial to start. I am so embarassed i just admitted that.

  10. Julie Masse says:

HHmmmm, this is a hard one . . . seems to be a theme with tv shows so I LOVE the Waltons – always have!! Now I “make” my children watch them with me when we have family night sometimes! Not very exciting – sorry! 🙂

  11. Kristin says:

Mayday on the discovery channel. You know you shouldn’t watch, but can’t help yourself.

  12. Courtney says:

I wrote a Harry Potter novella length fanfic two years ago that is still getting rave reviews! No one in RL knows that it was me that wrote it and several fellow fans have told me I must read my own story without realizing that they were recommending it to the author herself! Pretty fun:-)

    Yes, I am a major geek!=)

  13. Sandy K. says:

I am sooooo addicted to the Cruise Critic website. As soon as we book a cruise, I am into the roll call hoping to connect with others on the cruise and being very disappointed when there is little chatting happening. Then when the cruise is over, I still spend time every single day, not just searching out new ports we hope to visit but reading forums unrelated to anything I need to know; discovering what other cruisers are commenting about, and sometimes putting in my own two cents worth. I’m not generally a nosey person, but my curiosity seems to drag me in every time. Maybe its the anonymity that makes me bold in expressing an opinion or offering a suggestion. You might be surprised, but there is scrapbooking talk that goes on here as well. One sure does learn a lot perusing this website. It’s truly addictive….think I’ll go and check it out now! LOL!

  14. jen says:

I’m a paper hoarder. Oh wait. Guess that’s not really a huge divulge in this crowd. Hmmm. Let me think…. I stay up way too late watching tv or stalking blogs after my hubby goes to sleep. Shh. Don’t tell him, k?

  15. Sue C says:

This one is really hard because I am an open book. Let’s see…. I am addicted to TLC. I can’t help but watch Cake Boss & Little People. I get intrigued and grossed out by True Crime Stories. Oh and let’s not forget the new show called “I didn’t know I was pregnant”…. how this can happen I don’t know?!

  16. lacyquilter says:

I am very shy. In a group of people, I rarely talk.

  17. Sareeta G. says:

My little secret?…hmmm…it’s no secret that I am obsessed with Harry Potter, but I really have a thing for the Sookie Stackhouse stories and the most amazing TV show based on the books –TRUE BLOOD! Who knew I was a closet vampire story lover?!?!

  18. Amy says:

Hmm… Interesting question. So I’m not really a girly girl in real life, but when my husband leaves town I pull out my stash of chick flicks and watch one after another. I call it sapping out… like vegging out only way more sappy 🙂

  19. Linda C. says:

I am a reformed QVC shopper!! It was a curse! LOL

  20. Tara says:

A secret…hmmm….I think my top secret would be that every night before bed I still check to make sure there isn’t a boogie man in my closet! : ) Silly me…especially after telling my kiddies there’s no such thing! Shyeah right!

  21. Wendalyn says:

I don’t tell anyone that I met my husband on the internet LOL… in a chat room none the less. We date a month and then married. It’s been 11 years now so its all good. 🙂

  22. Siobhan says:

Oh this is horrible! OK, I am addicted to Real World, Road Rules, The Hills, etc. I am a MTV Reality show junkie! And the sad thing is I have seen EVERY show’s episode since the first season of the Real World. In fact, when we moved to Japan they were a few seasons behind, so I went as far as to watch it all on MTVoverdrive.com.

I will admit, I am starting to feel creepy about it now. I mean, I am pushing 40…and having discussions about how lame so-and-so is with my SIL who is 25. I think I need help!

*hangs head in shame* Gotta run. They just posted the new episode of the Hills (Just kidding!)

  23. Lorie says:

My secret? Oh, my…I would have to say…I am actually quite shy in new groups of people. I would much prefer my husband go first and make some initial contacts and then I’m good. Most people are quite surprise by that. Everyone thinks I’m so outgoing but yeah…no!

  24. Jill says:

My secret is . . . that I love the Duggar Family of TLC’s 18 Kids and Counting. I don’t have a lot in common with them, but I just adore ’em and won’t miss a show!

  25. Jan Scholl says:

My life is such an open book. A secret no one knows is almost impossible to find. I guess since hubby suddenly retired last fall, I don’t feel like I belong in any of the places I used to go to. I know that sounds weird, but I feel when he decided not to work anymore (and he is not even close to collecting SS) I felt like he invaded my space and I became someone else-and that someone else is a total alien in the places I used to love. Last week someone asked me if I wanted to go to a certain store and I said no-not because I didn’t want to go. I didn’t want to go as the “new” me. The old me would have but I think she sorta died last fall. Am I nuts or has anyone else had this feeling?

Now if ya want something silly and frivolous, I think I smell like bug spray. I use unscented everything but for some reason my nose thinks I spell like Off. And I never use Off. Even in the Skeeter capital of Michigan. I can’t just go up to people and say smell me and tell me what it smells like, right?

  26. Pamela Gibson says:

You stole my secret, i’m addicted to them too. But since thats taken i’ll have to say i like to watch kids shows, like disney ones.

  27. I sit up at night placing orders from many online stores but can never push the proceed with order button…

  28. Addicted to blogging at the moment…. I also love Bring It On! Yes, embarassing I know.

  29. Kathy says:

Um…heee..okay, I love cheese popcorn passionately, but I eat it with my tongue ‘cuz I don’t like getting the cheese stuff on my hands…lol…yup, like a puppy!

  30. Okay, You’re going to kill yourself on this one, laughing that is. Here it is, I eat the middle only of a double stuff Oreo cookie and dump the cookie parts in the green bin. Then when my husband asks who throws out the cookie parts I blame the kids. All 4 keep denying it, so hubby’s never figured it out. Bad Mommy!!
Ps. I even sneak one in the middle of the night when I get up for a pee!!
Pss. Maybe now everyone will figure out why I suggested the name Oreo for daughters new black and white kitty.

  31. Nancy Ball says:

I have never watched my taped copy of the Series Finale of NYPD Blue. I think if I watch it then it will be over………….forever!

Oh yes, I know it ended 4 years ago, but I don’t think I’ve loved a show more since. Some have come close…like Boston Legal and Third Watch. I just can’t bring myself to watch the tape!

My husband used to try to discuss the ending with me and could never figure out why I was always too busy with something to talk about it!

  32. Julie E says:

Oooo this one is hard for me. I guess the fact that I brush my teeth in the shower :>) I use the logic that I like to let the conditioner set a bit before rinsing so I have time to brush…

  33. Chris Parmenter says:

Hi Emily, I’ve had this secret for years. When I set the table for a
meal, I have a special fork and spoon in my cutlery drawer which I’ve
been attached to for say maybe going on 25-30 years. For no special
reason that I can think of, a meal at my table just isn’t the same without
my special fork and spoon. How childish is this???

  34. Shelley says:

HA! These secrets are awesome! Mine is: Sometimes when I’m making supper, I pretend I have my own cooking show… and I talk out loud and describe everything I’m doing. With a fake British accent.

  35. Vicki Burns says:

On my, this is hilarious! Such fun reading everybody’s posts! Long story, but my right hand is in bad shape~9 surgeries, radiation, etc. I have to sleep with it propped up on something. Have tried millions of pillows, and could never find one that worked quite right. So here’s the secret: I have an old teddy bear that is just right! I can nestle my hand in the crook of its neck and it’s as comfortable as it can be. So yes, I am 46 and sleep with a teddy bear! I travel with it, too. 🙂

  36. laura j says:

Ok, I’ll fess up! If I’m eating alone and really like what I’ve eaten I’ll lift that plate and lick it clean…..disgustingly unmannerly!

  37. Diane says:

Oh my goodness — I’m totally addicted to blogs. I can sit in front of the computer for hours and hours just going from blog to blog — cardmaking, scrapbooking, and photography blogs are my passionate interest. And I have so many bookmarked it’s absolutely ridiculous! I have a couple of other secrets too but I’ll save it for another time! Hahaha!

  38. I don’t really have many secrets. One is that I can not stand lond toenails! They freak me out if I can feel any length at all. Plus they hurt in my pointy shoes if they’re long.

  39. Gabriela says:

Oh sweet goodness… I have so many. Okay, this one is border line crazy, so I will share. I don’t like the number 13. So I don’t get out of bed if the digits end in 13 or add up to 13. I don’t want to fly if the plane has a 13 in it or again if the digits add up to them.

  40. OMG……….I have been reading every comment and they are great. Only thing I can think of at the moment is how I love reading about the Kennedy Family and the Royal Family. I have went on the Shopping Channel to check out Jackie O’s jewellery. Of course had to pick up a couple of things as well.

  41. Chellabella says:

Ok Em.. here goes.. I don’t tell people this because it’s embarassing.. but I am totally addicted to two things.. The Real Housewives Series.. and gas station coffee.. I record the real housewives and watch it during the day while I’m making cards.. and I find it hard to resist my favorite coffee (English Toffee Cappucino) at the gas station down the street from my house.. I KNOW it’s bad for me but it tastes sooo good! So there it is.. my dirty little secret..

  42. Christy S. says:

My secret is kinda like Vicki’s…I sleep with a Coca-Cola polar bear stuffed animal, and I have since I was about 15 (and I’m 29 now). His name is Juan the Mexican Polar Bear, and he has been with me everywhere…every state I’ve ever visited, plus Germany, Switzerland, and of course Japan.

I’m also a huge fan of sci fi/fantasy novels. I own most of the Star Wars “expanded universe” books, plus many many books which prominently feature magic, swords, and/or dragons. But I disliked reading Tolkein.

  43. Jenny S says:

    I love everyone’s little secrets!!

My secret would have to be … I am addicted to blurfing!! I love finding new blogs to read & search for new techniques. 🙂

  44. Lindsay Henderson says:

My little secret would be that I’m totally addicted to the food network! I could watch it all day…Barefoot Contessa, Fresh with Anna Olsen, Chef at Home…I just can’t get enough! I’m at the point now where I HAVE to pull off all the recipes I like and for the ones I can’t pull off online I just go out and buy the cookbook.
I now own at least 10 new cookbooks….oops! LOL

  45. I have a secret that ONLY my husband and children know, I don’t tell anyone that I work with, my friends or people at church!!! Are you ready??? Here it goes….

I like playing World of Warcraft!!!! LOL I’m such a geek but I love living vicariously through the characters I create! LOL

  46. Stephanie Zito says:

    OMG – love everyone’s secrets!

One secret of mine that my dh thinks I am totally weird is that I LOVE Captain Crunch cereal. Yep. Been hooked on it since I was a kid. And now, at 36, still hooked. I’m not a breakfast person so I’ve been known to replace meals with it and have a bowl for a late night snack!

  47. Lia S says:

SECRETS for SALE??? for $50 in bella bucks………..oh my, Em you are bad! Let’s see I don’t have many secrets………but there is one thing that I don’t share often…………I watch soaps! I started as a tot watching with my mom, been watching all my life (I’m 41 now)! I’m an abc fan~all my children, one life to live and of course general hospital! When I can’t watch I catch up on soap net, where I also watch reruns of Beverly Hills 90210!!! UGH! How’s that for a secret obsession!

  48. Michelle B. says:

Allright- here goes. I’m a 30 year old baby who needs her security blanket to sleep.

I started using a receiving blanket when I was 13 as a drool rag when I was sleeping, so my pillow wouldn’t get all wet (YUCK). 17 years later, I still need my blankie to sleep, even when I don’t drool. I’ve gotten really good at finding hiding places for it on trips. LOL

  49. Nikki says:

Allright, you’re not a judge, you’re a counsellor!! Okay Bella, I’ll confess mine.. in a minute. Okay so it’s kind of embarassing… so here it is… okay gimme a minute. Alright, ten minutes have passed and I’m gonna share this very personal secret tidbit about my “flaw” in my relatively kind, generous character knowing full well once published it will be available in BlogWorld forever on some server and may come back to bite me! Allright, I’m gonna take a breather and come back and tell you – see if I can’t make it sound good. Well, the walkie didn’t help me, but it did make me think about how much I enjoyed meeting you Bella and your store is sooo awesome with so much stuff that I woudl LOOOVE… so I’ve decided to sell me soul for this prize PLUS! I want that image of you they used on your bday cards with the curly girl with glasses.. supposed to be you but I soooo wnat it because it looks like me too! Okay! That did it… I’m tellin the wold that I haaAAAAaaayyyyyte stooOOoooopid peep’le!! Liek seriously, they make me blow a fuse at least once a week! Now I’m not talking about education, i’m talking about those poepl who really dont know that they don’t know they are being soooooooo retardedly annoyingly STOOPID! I’m not talking about JSimpson’s “is tuna a type of chicken from the sea” nonsense, I’m talking REAL LIVE OMG YOU EEEDIOT! Like, a month ago, I’m on the subway platform and there is this very old lady, hunched over (osteoperosis) but the cutest sweetest lil thing, ever near me. There is only one other person on the entire platform that early in the AM and the subway comes, so I gesture for her to enter first. Because of a language barrier I guess, she gestures I go first so I speak and say “go ahead, please” and she shakes her head and indicates for me to go and the subway chimes go off indicating the door is closing and * my fuse starts fizzling* so one last gesture and she shakes her head again (groannnn) and I enter the subway – would you freakin’ believe that she not only ducks in under my arm, she makes me lose my balance and my backpack gets caught in the closed door, I mean it was just the two with plenty of time to get into the subway – GRRR!!! Okay, one more, I can’t resist this one… dude gets caught for impaired, refuses to give a sample, refuses to walk the line, so gets his license suspended. That’s not the best part. he takes the bus to work te next day where he drives a truck in sales all day long and speaks to his boss and asks Bossman to hire him a driver until he can talk some sense into the officer who is holding his driving priveledges until the court date AND … get’s terminated because he couldn’t fulfill his duties! GAH! THWACK! LOOSERRR! So if that isn’t enough, he calls me, a new mom with a 2 month old and asks me to come get him in St.Catherines (2hrs away) so he can come back home to his Mom’s to look for work! It’s been 2 years, he sold his condo, lost money on it, lost his job, still living with his mom t 32 and STILL unemployed and of course the STOOPIDEST PART – he’s now got a criminal record. Seriously dude! Anyway, make it be known, I cannot stand stoopidity!!!

  50. antje says:

    I loved everybodys secrets LOL
My secret is, that I am totally chocolate addicted. My husband is overweighted and I keep telling him how bad sweets are… you won’t see me eating chocolate in front of him! Never! The truth is I have my hideouts in the house, filled with chocolate – so when he is not around, I just enjoooooy!!!

  51. StampinCathy says:

You want me to spill the beans on one of my secrets….um….ok only cuz it is worth a chance at $50.00 for some cool stamps.
I want world peace…oh that’s for a beauty contest. Ok let me think about this…um…um! I don’t let my DH know how much money I hold back on my obession and that way I get more, cuz I spend the family money and my stash money. (teehee) Ok most of you crafters do that….RIGHT? Thanks so much for a chance. I’m keeping my fingers cross for this awesome giveaway.

  52. A secret huh? Hmmmmmmm…I would have to admit that I have a secret (shhh) crush on Kid Rock. At first I didn’t care for him at all, and then the more I listened to some of his songs, seen some of his interviews and videos, the more I’ve grown to like him. So totally not my ‘type’, and I honestly don’t know what it is about him! My husband and kids are big fans of his, but they don’t know I like him too LOL. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  53. Java says:

I have a hidden stash of dark chocolate for those little cravings 🙂

  54. Karen Motz says:

Well, on the TV theme…I’ve never seen the Sound of Music and any time I confess that to someone they’re shocked. But now it’s kinda become my mission to NEVER see The Sound of Music just so I can say so! For something a little more personal…I super afraid of weather! Not just major things like hurricanes, but plain ole’ lightning, thunder and hail will do it for me. I’ve always told hubby that we can never live anywhere where there’s hurricanes, tornados, floods, tropical storms….Hmmm…maybe we should move back to Canada where the worst thing seems to be snow, but I can shovel that! LOL! 🙂

  55. Kim Forsyth says:

Oh Em, your makin’ everyone spill their secrets is sooo funny! OK, mine is silly but o-so-sweet. First let me say that I have the sweetest dog in the world. She sleeps in the bed with us at night and initially she crawls under the covers and curls behind my legs and then here it comes… she will give me these little “love licks” on my ankle or foot. They’re not long soppy washings or anything, just these little kisses that are short and sweet. The secret part is not that she licks me, but that I like it and when she sometimes licks my husband’s arm or leg I get on to him to tell her to STOP! What a hypocrite I am LOL!!!

  56. Karen Wilson says:

These are all so good!! Let me think of a secret…ok, here’s one. Right now I am trying SOOOO darn hard to eat right and stay healthy. So, I shy away from treats etc all day/night. Well, once everyone’s in bed, I tend to sneak down to the pantry to fulfill that craving I’ve had ALL STINKIN’ day for my chocolate, peanut butter chunk cookies! LOL! Only thing is, when the bag’s gone, what do I say….hmmm, must be the mice??? LOL!

    Good luck everyone!

  57. Cathy Green says:

These are hilarious! I don’t know what to share. I’m pretty open and it’s hrad to think of what someone doesn’t know about me. Let’s see…OH, my daughter knows this, but I don’t think anyone else does. I LOVE America’s Next Top Model!!! I’m 40 something plus…ahem, and I watch ANTM with my 18 year old daughter. There was a marathon once before the new season started and I had to TiVo it so that I didn’t miss any of the episodes. I think it stems from wanting to be a model when I was younger. I also watch Daisy of Love with her. That show is so totally against everything I believe in. But I want to see who she chooses. The final episode is this Sunday and I can’t wait.

  58. Cammy says:

Hmmm…I seem to have a thing for musicians — not in “real life” though. I LOVE (drool over) Jon Bon Jovi, Rick Springfield (an old crush from junior high) and Dave Matthews. I love their music as well — I’ve seen them all in concert multiple times. They just add a bit more fun to the concerts — DH won’t go to a Bon Jovi concert with me because he knows I drool over Jon. LOL! Those are always girls night out!

  59. Nicole says:

I really don’t like letting anyone know this, but since it IS so awesome that people have confessed, I might as well.

It started off as a writing experiment, but then a few friends got involved and now it’s a big THING… I write for an online role playing type thing, set in the Star Trek Universe (it’s been almost 2 years). I’m a virtual Chief Medical Officer, with the rank of Commander on a small Starbase.

Since it was a writing experiment, I wanted to do something within an established universe and something that I didn’t know, so it works. It’s totally geeky, though. It’s my deep geek secret. LOL

  60. Ok…….I would have to say that my secret is actually a fun one. I am adopted and was when I was 6mos old! I found my natural mother, right before I turned 21 and she is a HUGE part of my life now!! She ROCKS!!! Ok…hope that counts!! I don’t think anyone really knows that. Maybe one or two people, but, to everyone else? Definitely a secret, but, like I said? A GREAT one!!! Thanks for the generous chance to win! Hope you are well!

    Take care!
    Jacquie/Javablustamper!

  61. Natasha Kara says:

Ok…So this is embarrassing…I am a bloggabella virgin. this is my first time posting on your blog…go easy with me K?

My secret is I love to cook, so I collect recipes…. I mean every recipe that I come across i keep, It does not matter what it is or where it’s from, The newspaper, the little inserts that you find in products, those LCBO fliers, I seldom ( ok ,so I count on one hand, just how many seldom is, but I digress) use any of them. When I want to make something I usually get it from a Recipe book ( don’t even get me started on how many of those I have and have never used!) or I google it and print off the recipe I like, but then to add insult to injury, when want to make that same thing again, I couldn’t be bothered to look for the one I already printed off, so i print it off again…. I neeeed help.
Now, I know your store does not offer counseling services, but you o offer the best therapy known to women EVERYWHERE…SHOPPING THERAPY!!!

  62. martha says:

my secret….. i love to watch icarly and hannah montana.

  63. Kel B. says:

    I love reading everyones secrets!

My knees cant be touching when I go to bed. I have to fold my blanket between them, but my feet have to be and they have to be covered. I cant fall asleep otherwise!

    Thank you Em!

  64. Cathy R says:

Okay, now I am addicted to reading ppls little secrets!!! From thinking I smelled weird to meeting my DH on-line…this is so self-confirming, I want MORE!!!

My little sectret: I am a total MOMMY’S girl. We live about a half hour away and we talk on the phone at least 3 or 4 times a day! If we are on vacation (seprately) we will leave messages, find a computer to send emails on or make rediculously expensive phone calls!! If it is not me making the calls, my 6 yr old daughter makes them!

  65. My secret? Twighlight wasn’t enough – I’m also addicted to Sookie Stackhouse!!

  66. Michelle A. says:

For the last 20 years or so, I have been secretly obsessed with the soap opera General Hospital…I have to come home right from work, lay on the couch & watch the days episode. God help us if there is a broadcasting interruption, like the president… or a crazy news story! I think I flipped when the coverage for Michael Jackson’s death prevented the airing of my little soap opera!

  67. Jenn Cornell says:

Most of my friends know that I don’t watch much TV, but what they don’t know is the stuff I so watch is the reality type shows like Making the Team or the search for the Coyote Ugly girls… or anything on E! I am not a big fan of network TV….. I guess it’s my escape from real-life!

  68. I am not ashamed to admit that I watch The Disney Channel (Hannah Montana, Suite Life, Jonas) even if my daughter is not in the room OR even at home!

Those are some good shows! 😉

  69. Emily says:

    Em you crack me up.
OK – only because I can use the $50 but my big secret is…

I used to be on this horrid kids show called Don Mahoney & Geena Claire and their kiddie troupers… hahaha Yes I did. We’d tape on Friday nights and it would air Sundays. It was a UHF show and it was horrible, tacky, etc….

Lord have Mercy – that is worth a lot. lol

  70. Mary Duffek says:

wow…..hmmm a secret that no one knows…hmmmm….I would have to share that we don’t have cable! I know, I know this is shocking, but we watch DVD’s….If we had cable, I’d watch FoodTV, HGTV, Discovery, The History Channel etc…that’s my secret…not very good huh!?!!?? But I could you some bella goodness!

  71. Tracy C. says:

Wow, this is just tooooooo funny! I have just read everyone’s deep dark secrets and they are hilarious! Me on the other hand, well I’m an open book! What you see is what you get ! Now if you like to go back prior to hubby and kids, now that would be a whole other story!

  72. Ooohhh this is fun! My secret is that I put my makeup on in my car just so I can sleep that much longer in the morning. Every last bit, down to mascara and foundation, yep! Done while driving. EEK!

  73. lindaH says:

Here is mine, it’s not really a secret to my immediate friends and family but it may be news to you. I’m deathly afraid of centipedes. I almost pass out from fear when I see one. So I never walk into a dark room, and if the room is dark and I turn on the light I have to stand at the door for a moment to make sure one doesn’t come scooting out. And EVERY morning when I get out of the shower I have to shake my towel before I use it just to make sure one isn’t lurking in the folds. Oh I have more centipede rituals that I won’t bore you with here and it ain’t easy being me and living in swampy humid Southwestern Ontario because in spring and fall they run rampid!

  74. Sarah says:

My secret is that I’m addicted to the Twilight and Sookie Stackhouse series books(can’t tell you the number of times I’ve read them). Thanks for the chance to win!!

  75. tina says:

  77. Carolyn says:

I am really embarassed to admit this, but I’m afraid of the dark and have to have a light on at night. It’s is the overhead fan light on the stove. I can’t see it from our room, but it has to be on. I tell my husband it’s for the kids in case they get up in the middle of the night, but it’s really for me. If he leaves for work really early, I have to turn on the hall light. Thanks for letting me FINALLY admit/tell someone. 🙂

  78. Penny says:

My weird secret is that I can’t eat small things unless I’m eating an even number. Things like raisins, m&m’s, bottle caps, grapes, yogurt covered raisins, junior mints, stuff like that. I CANNOT, absolutely CANNOT eat an ODD number. I have to either eat them two at a time or four at a time. Or if my husband, say we’re sharing bottle caps, he dumps them in my hand, I HAVE TO COUNT THEM before I eat them, ’cause I can’t eat an odd number. I have always been like this… lol. I don’t know why. My husband thinks it’s weird.

  79. Kim Dellow says:

Oh wow, these secrets are fabulous! Gosh mine is really tame but I am a closet Sci Fi Fan and have been known to be able to sit and watch episode after episode of Star Trek – actually I’m watching it now – the shame 😉 Anyone asks – I will deny it! Kim

  80. Diane says:

I have so many secrets/embarrassments, I don’t know where to begin!

  81. Rhian says:

Hmmm…which one to tell? It’s actually fun reading some of the other posts and realizing that there are a lot of you out there who are my soul sistahs! Ok, someone else mentioned the romance novels, every once in a while I get a craving for trashy ones, I’m talking the Harlequin kind. I go to the library and take out a stack of about 20 and read them in a week over the summer holidays. Actually have not done it this summer yet, shopping at Stamping Bella has taken up too much time so far!

  82. Galit says:

Em, this is the best contest ever! I just finish reading everyone’s post and they are hilarious…. Ok, let me see; confess my inner darkest secrets for a chance to win $50.00.
I am in! Yep, like the rest of you I am can be bought for very cheap…
Anywise, I have a few dark secretes to share:
The first one is that when I go away on Vacation, I rename myself … I give myself a new first name and that’s how I introduce myself…I choose a new name that matches the country or the place I visit, for example, when I was in the Mexico, I called myself “Lola” that way, I really get into the full experience of the culture I visit.

I am also totally addicted to “People .com” (people magazine online site) I check it first thing in the morning when I get in front of the computer and I few more times during the day to see if there is anything new in the world of entertainment. Then in the evening, I have to watch one of the shows as “Entertainment tonight” “Extra” or “The Insider” even though I knew everything that happened that day from “People. Com” lol, Yep, clearly I have too much time on my hand and desperately needs help.

  83. April says:

I secretly love the TV show Buffy the vampire slayer. The teen books are so good too. I am almost 40 years old. I bought all the episodes and have a whole bunch of books. That $50 bella bucks is a real good lure…..

  84. Kimberley says:

Okay, my secret is………..that I give my sweet little Lancey dog, a darling JRT, bottled water to drink when my hubby isn’t looking. I know that it doesn’t seem like a big deal but hubby has expressly forbidden such behavior and I do it anyway. He is such a sweet little boy and I adore him and why shouldn’t Mommy just grab him some water from a bottle?
And about those Harlequin novels…..I got a book reading award in 8th grade for reading 84 books…….well, don’t tell but they were mostly all Harlequin novels! I love a good, quick, trashy read!

  85. Dana says:

Love this contest Em!! I tried to tell my BFF that I don’t have any deep dark secrets & she laughed at me!!
I must confess I am addicted to Perez Hilton.com; I check it out everyday!

Another thing about me is I don’t like any condiments – no mustard, mayo, relish, sauces, butter on anything – ketchup on the side for select things although I can’t have my shart KD without ketchup!

  86. Jamie says:

I love 80’s music, hair bands, and rock ballads. I love to turn them up in my car and rock out when it is just me :).

Too funny about the judge shows, I am sure we all have our little TV obsessions. There could be worse things 🙂

  87. Mary H. says:

This is hilarious! What great secrets everyone is sharing. OK, my secret is that I don’t have a spleen. Because of an illness, I had to have it removed when I was 18. Of course my family knows, but most of my friends and co-workers have no clue. Luckily, I’ve been very healthy ever since! Thanks for this fun contest!

  88. Megan Lock says:

My secret. I eat cheese fries and cheddar peppers. I love cookies for dinner and fight my husband for who gets to eat them. I love mall pretzels and those cookies with frosting on them. I love the corn dogs and fried pickles from the local grease joint. And. I’m a dietitian.

  89. barb says:

My secret is not totally weird, but I always listen to a book on CD when driving long or short distances. Even if I do not pay attention to the story, it seems to make the trip more enjoyable…especially if the speaker has an easy to understand “American accent.”

  90. Betty-Ann says:

Okay, I’ll play along…I admit that I know almost as much about Webkinz as my son, and I also play more of the games in the site’s arcade than he does!

  91. Janet B says:

My secret—-that I eat all teh chocolate off the outside of a mars bar before eating the oh-so-yummy centre. LOL

  92. Christi says:

How fun! OK, something I never tell people is that I love teenie shows and movies. LOL I can’t figure out why…maybe it’s because I am still trying to hold onto my youth?

  93. Kathleen W. says:

Oh, these are so funny! Here’s my secret… Every year on my birthday, I treat myself to a Taco Bell #5 and a bag of Jax (cheese curls made by Bachman). They’re my favorite junk foods. I got hooked on Jax as a kid, when my grandmother used to have them. We never had that kind of junk food at home, so they were a treat. I like them so much that my cat (who just happens to be orange) is named Jax.

  94. nisha says:

I love that everyone is sharing their secrets – now it’s my turn! I enjoy my dose of cartoons, my DH thinks I’m crazy since I prefer watching cartoons over anything else. My favourites include Dragon Tales and Smurfs!

Thanks for such a wonderful contest Em! 😉

  95. Tanis says:

My secret? So you promise you’re not telling anyone?
I love spending my company’s money. I’m the first to volunteer to run to Walmart for toilet paper or whatever the office needs because I love spending other people’s money.
Well truthfully, I love spending mine, but I’d need a lot more of it to do much else!
I promise I’d do a whole lot more damage with that $50 than just the gift certificate’s worth =)

  96. Angela says:

    Okay… a few secrets

1 – I’m terrified of snakes ( my brother and his friend held me down as a child and then proceeded to put one down my shirt)

My biggest and fondest desire is to truly be one of the IDLE RICH.

So mine…The only person who knows this is my husband…

I have a serious thing for Inspiration Fiction…but that’s not the secret…the secret is, I ALSO have a secret lust for the lusty busty paperback romances! Soooooo oxymoronic! But I love to read and I can’t help the fact that the covers suck! The plots are easy to follow and require no brain waves! And yes, I admit…I blush sometimes…

I also have watched almost EVERY SINGLE Miss America pagent since I was 6 years old and keep a scorecard…so sad…

    And…one more to boot…

I wear teenage glitter eyeshadow…cause I love DA BLING!

This better win me $50 of Bellabucks! ROTFL!

  101. Jessica says:

OK so I have two huge ones that most people dont know about me except for maybe one or two people. I used to date a Major League Baseball player and the other is that I went out on a date with an Oscar Award Winner (before he won).

OK thats it. Not even my husband knows this so shhhhhhhh don’t tell.

  102. Amy Jacobs says:

Okay here is my little secret…I collect and read those erotic books. You know like from elloras cave. The naughty ones! I hide what I am reading from the kids and hubby and only read them when they aren’t around. They are hidden deep in my closet away from prying eyes…shhh don’t tell them

  103. Amy Jacobs says:

I also forgot to add that I secretly sit and watch disney cartoons with my 4 year old in the mornings when I tell my hubby I am doing housework…heehee

  104. Oh, this one I can do. Although I don’t have any really interesting thing to share…Um, lets see…ok, I have a MAJOR sweet tooth. I love anything sweet. It is my biggest weakness. If I can find nothing else I have been known to eat a spoon of sugar. When I was a kid my Granny bought the boxes of brown sugar. They would get hard and I loved to break pieces off and suck on them.

  105. Marge says:

I cannot believe I am admitting this on a message board but I am addicted to The Biggest Loser TV show. I bought the last two seasons on Itunes and watch when it is on the cable channels. I also stalk their message boards about news for the upcoming seasons. I think I own every product with the BL logo on it. I cannot believe I admitted it. LOL

  106. DeniseB says:

I am a big fan of Days of Our Lives. Started watching it as a teenager, along with my Mom.
About 20 years ago, several daytime soap actors came to my town for a tennis tournament. I was determined to meet Wayne Northrop. I found out where they were staying and crashed the party at the hotel. I took my hubby with me, but he was far too embarrassed to come with me into the party and waited in the lobby instead. I did meet Wayne, along with a few other celebrities, and he signed my tennis program. I especially wanted to meet him since my maiden name was Northrop. We chatted about that and he signed my program,
“To my cousin….”. He was very nice.
    DeniseB

  107. Callie says:

My dirty little secret huh? Okay here goes… Frosting! I LOVE it. Eats it all the time. I constantly have some in the fridge. It’s hidden in the back where no one can see it and when the kids are sleeping I’ll sneak a spoonfull or two, or twelve depending on the day! On my birthday (just around the corner) I usually finish a whole tub just because it’s my birthday and I can! 🙂 Hmmm… better go sneak a spoonfull while I still can before them chitlins wake up from their nap!

  108. jami rudd says:

I’m a junk food junkie. I’m able to keep it under control most of the time. However at least once a month, I go on a rampage around the house eating anything sugary or salty…. both if possible.
I also love PB&J. Every time I make one for one of my boys, I take a HUGE scoop of jelly and dip it in the peanut butter and enjoy an nice spoonful. – i tell myself it’s less calories since I’m not eating the bread:) LOL!

  109. Lisa V says:

As a kid it was on Friday nights I think at 9pm and I hated when it was on and never watched it but now I have all the seasons out there of DALLAS and waiting for season 12 to come out

  110. Jessica says:

OK since you told yours I guess I can tell mine. I have a thing for reality/documentary shows on prisons. I am TOTALLY fascinated by them–that show on MSNBC called “Locked Up”? So watch it…..

Maybe it’s my bad side wanting to come out…MWAAHHHH

  111. Natalie says:

I am shamefully a closet Hannah Montana fan … I haven’t watched season 3 yet cuz I missed the first episode and I want to see ALL of them IN order … I was even gonna pay the $40 for a ticket to take my 5yr old niece to her concert. Oh ya … I’m 31 … not 13! Seriously LOVE that show though!!

  112. So what’s my dirty secret? I HATE to cuddle and my husband LOVES it! So what is my solution? After he falls asleep at night, I roll him over so that he isn’t all in my space! Haha! Now don’t get me wrong, I love him like crazy but for some reason I feel as if I am suffocating when we cuddle! Hehe! So there you have it, the truth. 😀 Thanks for the chance to win!

  113. Bri says:

Well here we go. I have always been a treat hoarder. Whether its my favorite chips, chocolate or cookies—I save them for myself! I was like this when I was younger (wouldn’t share or just hid to eat!) but thought that I’d definitely grow out of it. Nope! I’m 25 with two kids and I still hide my stash and won’t share! Okay, and Twilight is also a huge weakness!

  114. Linda Fischer says:

I LOVE watching kids movies Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Cars, Barbie Movies… and now that I have a kid, I have an excuse. lol However, my poor son is now flooded with little girl movies. lolol His future wife will either thank me for making him into prince charming or I’ll need to save up for therapy. LOLOL

  115. Terri E. says:

My secret is I really don’t like my Dog. I had a doxie and I LOVED/LOVE her. She had to be put down becuase of her bad back and I still miss her dearly! We then got a shelte Auggie for my daughter. He is a good dog, but I really don’t like him at all because I still want my little Heidi back 🙁 No one knows, so shhhh don’t tell my daughter or my Hubby.

    It’s a good life!
    Terri E.

  116. Carisa says:

oh boy, these were so fun to read! my secret I have recently started revealing to friends when I can’t make it to the stamping circle is I play dungeons & dragons with my hubby. Not only do I play, but I love it! He got me hooked about a year ago and we now play 1-2 x’s a month sometimes more if I can find more games. I haven’t graduated to playing without him though. I was going to but I’m worried my character would die if he wasn’t playing as well. I’m a level 3 Deva Invoker!

  117. Linda w says:

I think I have had a lifelong secret. I twirl my hair when I am tired. Same spot since I was a wee baby. My Mom has pictures of me doing this. I still catch myself just about every day.

Ssshhhhhhhhiiii…. don’t tell my mom!!!!!! Hihihihihihiihi

  119. Shana Dahl says:

I didn’t get a chance to read everyone else’s comments so I don’t know if there is anyone else like me out there… Anytime I go into a bathroom that has shower curtains pulled shut, I have to pull back the curtains to make sure that nobody is hiding back there. Don’t know if it is left over from watching Psycho but I have a definate fear of someone lurking back there… It doesn’t matter if I tell myself I am being ridiculous – I just have to do it. Now, I don’t peak in bathroom cabinets like a lot of people out there just in the bathtub! 🙂

  120. Jacquie S says:

I will tell my secret for $50 bella bucks. I love vampire books, movies, tv shows. I just recently discovered Sookie Stackhouse as well and I love it and I can’t wait for Vampire Diaries coming this fall. I kind of fell better getting that secret out there.

  121. Karyn says:

My birth name was Karen but when I was 13 I decided that I like Karyn much better. 🙂

    Great secret sharing everyone!!

  122. Jessica Hammond says:

    Ok…Ok…My secret is…
When I’m with my husband sometimes I pretend he’s some gorgeous movie star and I’m the lucky one on his arm. I’ve fantasized about him being Keanu Reeves, David Boreanaz, Brad Pitt, and the list goes on and on. If he ever knew about this I think I’d just die. My husband really is handsome so I think it just makes me all that more attracted to him 🙂 Another one of my secrets is I LOVE to dance when I’m alone. I can shake it pretty good as long as no one is looking at me LOL! I love to dance to disco music like ABBA. I also love dance party music to dance to. Ok, there I’ve spilled the beans, you all know my dirty little secret…Shhh…don’t tell a soul!!

  123. Betty M says:

Well my secret is that I am addicted to stamping – well I guess it doesn’t really count as a secret anymore because my family has figured out I am obsessed. Hmmmm I guess I will have to say it is that I like to hide my chocolate treats so that I have more for myself and don’t have to share —- isn’t that awful. I hope no one else finds out or tells my hubby – ’cause then I will have to share.

  124. My secret is I love cartoons. Not the new stuff like on CN but the old school cartoons on Boomerang!! We switched cable networks just so we could get this channel for the ummmhh..kids!! I love it! Scooby-doo, The smurfs, Looney Tunes, The Snorks, The Flintstones and The Jetsons! Love them all!! And dont even get me started on Disney! We probably own just about every Disney movie ever made!LOL! See stamping is not my only obsession!LOL!

  125. Stacy says:

Hmmm…my secret, although my hubby knows, so it can’t be much of one, is that I love to watch The Girls Next Door. I can’t believe their lifestyle, I sit in shock most of the time.

  126. Lora Sinkler-Lake says:

Well I’m addicted to soooo many things…..just to name a few…rubber stamps of course…ribbon I have a really big problem with that….and well…every single thing that comes out…but probably most of all my Copic’s….I had to have all 322 Sketch Markers..I couldn’t just settle for a few…oh and the refills of course…the secret is…my husband doesn’t know.

  127. Jennifer says:

Wow, so much fun reading everyone’s little secrets, we even have tv stars here! Ok, I need to pick one secret that is not too much information, hmmm….ok, I cannot watch only part of a movie, no matter how bad or how old the movie is, I have to watch the ending, I just have to.

  128. Clara Fidalgo says:

This is super fun! Kinda weird but fun! I’m a very organized person and my house is always clean and neat. All but one closet, I keep that one messy, it has boxes, old stuff, christmas stuff, all over the closet. And to be honest I love it! 🙂

  129. LoriT. says:

Reading this just confirms the face that everyone has their quirks, whether we know about them or not…Thanks, Em, for showing the humanity of scrapbookers…lol…my secret? Hmmm, I’m kind of an open book so give me a minute to think of something…oooo, I’m still addicted to Archie comics…when I buy them, I let on that I’m buying them for my kids…lol

  130. Laura says:

This was really fun reading through everyone’s little secrets 🙂 I guess we all of SOMETHING we are hiding hehe! My secret would be that I am secretly addicted to the show Charmed–only hubby knows! I know its old, and silly, but for some reason I love watching it 🙂

  131. Yvette F. says:

this is hilarious! I love the watch the Bravo channel…especially the Housewives of Orange County, NY, NJ, Atlanta…any of them.
I cannot relate to them with so much money…but it cracks me up! I could watch them for hours…if only I had that much time!!

  132. Chris says:

Sounds like a great title for a new reality show…………..”I’ve Gotta a Secret”. My secret, although my Hubby knows it…………LOL. I AM a blog-a-holic which in turn makes me a shop-a-holic whicjh in turn makes me a broke-a-holic. Show me a good picture and I will buy the rubbah!!! Right now I am stalkin’ my mail box. There should be a 12 step program me thinks.

  133. Mikaela says:

Hi Emily! We had great fun in the store today and have been stamping away the evening ever since 😉 Thanks for having us! My secret would be hilarious to anyone who knows me IRL — most of my friends (and aunties) remember me from high school being a bit of a scatter-brain. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed some interesting OCD habits. For instance, I can’t sleep or sit still in my house if any cupboard door is open. I also can’t make yummy lattes (or Americanos…) at work if the milk in the fridge isn’t organized based on health values. Crazy? Possibly!

  134. Maggie says:

All right. Here goes. My nieces (who are 8 and 11) are visiting right now and we just finished watching all 3 High School Musical movies….which I found funny because I both teach high school and am the assistant director of our theater program. Anyway, I thought they would be all Disney Schmisney…which they were, but son of a gun, I actually really liked them. And that Zac Efron? Whatta cutie (don’t tell the hubby…LOL!) 🙂

  135. Cindy Vernon says:

I love movies that have dancing in them and if they have singing too even better…think Dirty Dancing, Grease, the ending sequence to Slumdog Millionaire, Save the Last Dance, Footloose, Stomp the Yard, White NIghts…My husband thinks I’m the biggest dork on the planet.

  136. Chris Anderson says:

I like WWE wrestling…..and i watch it whenever my husband is downstairs watching something else. Please don’t let this get out.

  137. Lisa P. says:

Okay- for 50 bucks, I’ll spill one of my deep dark secrets!

DH and I occasionally watch the Playboy channel together (when the kids aren’t home, of course!). It’s the only channel on the TV that has a parental lock, but the lock isn’t for the kids- it’s for my mom! She spends a lot of time here, watching the kids while we’re out and I would absolutely freak if she saw what’s on there and knew what we watch, or even worse, if I caught her watching it! EEWW! LMAO!

  138. Brandi says:

My goofy secret is that I love dorky reality shows like Kenda, The Girls Next Door, Complicated, Tori and Dean… no one know this but my husband and now all of you!

  139. Crystal says:

I’m a grown women, married with children and am obsessed with Twilight. I have read the series of books so many times & seen the movie at least 50 times. I think I’ve worn the DVD out! Since they film in Vancouver I’m even debating about going down to the set……my best friend loves it too so I have a partner in crime. Hmmmm…….

  140. Mariska says:

The thing I should probably seek treatment for is that I have read the first Twilight book like three times now and I’ve seen the movie like ten times now. I have actually looked up the personal details on the actor that plays the main character in the movie (which is soooooo pathetic for a 33 year old!) and I have him on my desktop.

  141. Rebecca says:

Banana’s – they freak me out big time. I can’t stand the smell, taste, feel anything about them. So much so when my Fiance was feeding my 1 year old with one, I was just about physically sick and then he gave him the skin to hold. My little one thought it was hilarious chasing Mommy around the house with a Banana skin. I’m sure the next door neighbours thought i was being murdered by the sound of my screams !!

  142. Annette says:

I love to watch any cooking show, Top Chief, Chopped, Next Network Star, plus many more, the thing is I’m not that good of a cook 🙂 You would think I would be watching all the shows, but nope it’s the same old same old night after night.

  143. Sarah P. says:

Ok. I have two. One of my favourite movies of all time is The Lost Boys. I’ve probably seen it about a dozen times – love vampire stuff as a result of that movie. My second is that I love all things Japanese. Sometimes I think I was born into the wrong culture! Never been to Japan, but it’s high on the list of places I’d love to travel. I have about 30 crafting books printed in Japanese. I can’t read them, but I adore the style, so I just drool and try to figure things out from the pictures 🙂

  144. scrappyella says:

aside from stamping……..mine is cartoon shows. My kids likes to watch them when they were little, so I got addicted. any cartoon shows (Ben 10, scooby doo, pokemon, sixteen 🙂 etc, etc. anyways I think cartoons and stamping goes hand in hand, don’t you think? I am 42 and this is my other additcion:)

  145. Ramsey says:

When I was little, going to bed, I would switch my light off, then JUMP to my bed! Now, I’m almost 22 and I STILL DO! HeHe! I’m always afraid something is going to reach out from under my bed, grab me by the ankles and pull me under and into the heater vent or something…… 🙂

  146. Laura (llevans) says:

I am a QVC junkie! I like the chatter, so the TV is on all night while I sleep. I have more than once ordered the Today’s Special Value after waking up in the middle of the night and watching the presentation! Once when I was in the hospital for pneumonia, and I don’t remember doing this, I called an ordered a very expensive KitchenAid food processor. It arrived about a week later and I didn’t even remember ordering it! That was probably 4 years ago and I have never used it!

  147. Regan says:

hmmm..I have sooo many… well I guess I could share I am naturally blonde…eeeeck it looks awful.

  148. Shhhh…..Don’t tell my boss. I seach Stamping and Food/Cooking blogs all day at work instead of actually working.

  149. Krista says:

Ok, love reading everyone’s ‘secrets’…mine is STILL really embarrassing. Deep Breath…I used to have a crush on Bud from Married with Children. Ick! (My friend still makes fun of me, she’s the only one who knows…until now).

  150. Michele B says:

Well I was going to say that my secret is that my favourite food is liver! yep! whenever I was younger and it was my turn to choose dinner I would choose liver and turnips! YUMMY!!!
Although after reading Karen Motz’s comment about Sound of Music I have to counter that my favourite movie is Sound of Music – it was just too funny to read that someone has never seen it and has a mission to never see it 🙂

  151. Jamie K says:

My deep dark secret….I once sat on a pie. It was in a box on the seat in the back of a car. I jumped into the car, obviously w/o paying attention and squashed the pie.

Luckily I noticed immediately, got up and had to brush the evidence away (b/c crumbs ended up all over the seat) and shoved it to the other side of car. Unfortunately my best friend was jumping to the car as I did this and sat down right next to the pie. I scream, “Oh my god you just sat on the pie!” and she jumped up. When we opened it up, we both saw it was obviously smashed to bits.

    I know I’m evil.

I was silent about this for years until one day we were at another friends house and I remembered it. I was laughing hysterically about it and I had to explain it to my other friend. It was okay b/c the best friend was in the bathroom at the time and so I told the tale. We were laughing about it until my best friend came out of the bathroom looked at me and said:

“You know, I could hear everything you said. I cant believe it was you that sat on the pie!”

Luckily she forgave me. It was a pumpkin pie if anyone was wondering…

  152. ettiene says:

My secret is I am additcted to going on theknot.com. I do it all day. I am preparing for my wedding so thats all I do all day. No one in my family knwos how addicted to it I am.

  153. Danielle says:

My secret is… I like the smell of smokers hands. -oo- (me looking around, and I dont’ see anyone laughing yet) Whew! When I was a kid, my dad worked a lot and smoked more – like 2 1/2 packs a day. Anyway, his hands had a distinct smell and since he wasn’t around much, I liked to have him close when he was around. Then, he had a heart attack and quit smoking and the smell dissappeared. 10 years later I met my husband, who was a smoker at the time, and I found the smell again. I didn’t know that it was the smell of “smokers hands” until I met my husband and smelled it again. Lucky for me, the hubby quit smoking and the smell is just a memory.

I hope that wasn’t too crazy to win…I could use a few more bellas!

  154. Sue says:

Here’s a shocker…I read carding blogs while I am supposed to be working. LOL! Way more fun!

  155. Amy Sonnemann says:

My secret is…I am addicted to the Bachelor/Bachelorette. I never watch TV because my kids usually have their shows on and you can only stand so much Disney Channel. But for those 2 precious hours on Monday night, the TV is all mine. Don’t talk to me, don’t make noise in the room I’m in, I want that 2 hour time frame to myself with no interruptions. That’s all I ask of my family, if they talk, they could get seriously hurt. I take my Monday nights VERY SERIOUSLY…PS we eat out on those days so I don’t have to do dishes during my show. I’m obsessed but my family indulges me…most of the time.

I’m new to Stamping Bella. No one carries your stamps locally, I was in Virginia a few weeks ago when I was bit by the Bella Bug. I love your stamps.

  156. Ann I. says:

Hmmm, that’s tough for me to answer because my life is an open book.. probably the fact that I have resorted to storing all stamps and SB “stuff” in my armoire in the master bedroom, the second bedroom closet is packed to the rafters with more stuff and I’m “hiding” things behind pictures and electronic equipment in the living room… I really need to purge and yet I could never have enough Bella goodies 🙂

  157. Jackie says:

These are hilarious, what a great idea! My little secret is a bit goofy, but here goes anyway. Many years ago, a friend and I would occasionally go cross border shopping. We would make sure that we would wear our oldest clothes, including old shoes and even underwear. We would buy a new head to toe outfit and toss our old stuff in the garbage. What some people won’t do to avoid paying duty!!

  158. A secret hmmm. I smoked for ten years. I quit nine years ago. Not many people knew I smoked when I did it. So glad I quit. Now I stamp … and run, well jog slowly.

  159. Ellena says:

Ok what alot of people may not know about me is I am a Trekky fan. Yes Star Trek. All of them old and new. The new movie that just came out was awesome. Whew! that was a load off my shoulders. LOL!!.

  160. Kimberly L says:

Too funny – mine is a little weird…I’m a picky eater (really picky!)…I’ve always wanted to like pickles, but the consistency/crunch of them make me gag. HOWEVER, I can/will drink the whole jar of pickle juice (with a straw)…Love it! Thankfully noone in my house likes pickles so I don’t have any jars of pickles without juice : )

  161. Darlene says:

well, I’m addicted to this game on Facebook, it’s called super poke pets and you have to look after this pet, feed, clean, play and you earn coins and get to go virtual shopping for furniture and stuff to decorate their habitats….I”ve tried to explain it to others but they just politley smile and nod and pretend to know what I”m talking about even though I can see on their face they think I”m off my rocker….so for example I woke up extra early this morning so I could go “virtual shopping” for my polar bear dog before all the stuff was sold out….I call her my polar bear dog because when I first adopted her I thought she was a baby polar bear but once she grew up I realized she was a dog….anyway…..

  162. Miche says:

Oh my goodness…the blackmail info you have..LOL
kay, here’s my secret…I always laugh when everyone tells me how creative I am…I failed my grade 9 art class!!!

  163. Dawn says:

Right now my secret is that when my baby girl doesn’t move around enough to make me think something isn’t wrong in there (like all morning or something), I’ll keep pokin her and shaking my tummy around to wake her up. =X As soon as I feel that first kick or punch, I’m good to go.

  164. Sharona says:

Oh my – what should I chose: I love the reality show Denise: It’s Complicated on the E channel. I’m not even a big fan of Denise Richards but it’s addicting.

  165. paula says:

Ok, I am like soooo many others and I blab anything about myself and don’t really care what you know about me. I will tell you anything so be carefull what ya ask for! LOL Since everything here is more leaning towrds funny, I will tell you I LOVE reading US magazine. I Like the star studded trash!! I used to be addicted to John & Kate + 8. and I am a Kate fan all the way. I can not NOT read an article on them. I don’t go to the point of searching out for it, but if it’s on an US mag, or online and I run across it, I gotta read it.

I think this is something that most of my friends may not know…I don’t get offended easily. Say what ya want, I don’t care…hmmm, maybe that’s why I love Howard Stern!!

  166. carla says:

Ok mine is…I have lunch during the work week with Twilight. I recorded it on the pvr so everyday I come home for lunch and watch a few minutes of it…I think I have seen the whole movie a zillion times…. and now I start saying the Bella lines along with her and doing that rapid eye blink thing…then I crack myself up and have to try to not choke on my lunch.

  167. Jaclyn says:

I collect turtles, yep an adult collecting turtles….even had a bride & groom turtle cake topper on my wedding cake (don’t tell my husband I told you….HEEEEE would kill me!) LOL

  168. Michelle says:

I think everyone knows this but moi, so really I’m admitting this secret to myself….face to face 🙂 I’ve just figured out I’m a shopaholic. I love to buy everything from luscious rubber stamps to clothes. But my absolute favorite things to buy are handbags & shoes. They make me soooo happy 🙂

Now that I’ve admitted that to myself I can get my secret under control since our first child is heading off to college in the fall, and those college tuition bills will take all my money!!!!

  169. Sharon Holden says:

My secret is that I name all my pets after characters from the TV shows Buffy & Angel. Unless you were a real fan you would never know although some people do think its weird to have two Lhasa Apso’s named Spike & Wesley! It all started ages ago when we had our first dog called Xander and our neighbour called her dog Buffy and it just kept going from there.

  170. Colette says:

FUN!! Although this isn’t a secret to my closest friends, it is super duper secret to the unsuspecting public: Ready????…I LOVE to people watch and always have my phone in camera mode in “prime locations” such as the mall, festivals, farmers markets, etc. I NEVER pass up an opportunity to take candid photos of funny things like “plumber’s butt,” mullets, pants that are 5 sizes too small, bad tattoos or piercings, pets and owners that look alike, etc. THEEEEEEEEEN, I post those funny photos as my profile pics on my Facebook account!! HAHAHAHA…I don’t know why it’s so funny, but it *TOTALLY* is to me! There….I said it.

  171. Jeanette says:

I hate to admit it but I am addicting to games n facebook. I have two different farms and a restaurant that I check on several times a day. No wonder my house is far from spotless.

  172. Mel says:

Well here goes…..being an Australian you’re suppose to love vegemite but i hate it with a passion but l tell everyone that i meet that it’s the best thing since slice bread. That’s my secret please dont tell anyone.LOL

  173. Heather D. says:

I have thought and thought and thought!!! I am SOOO HORRIBLE on telling my life story ~ I do not think I have any secrets! lol. However ~ I guess this is odd, I close my eyes when I brush my teeth? it is a ‘feel’ thing maybe? lol. I have found I do that in the shower sometimes too … but maybe that is an overtired mommy, dont want to look at myself kindof thing 🙂 lol!!!
BTW ~ I LOVE pickles .. but also like pickle juice like the other gal. I will not drink it for pleasure .. but it is sure good for an upset tummy! A little swig ‘ll do ya! 😉 but it makes my hubby gag to see me drink it, hehehe!

  174. Heather D. says:

Oh, I do have a butt obsession! REally .. odd … I look at EVERYONES butts! Maybe that is why I loved and had to have Mwahbella (or as my daughter calls it and rolls her eyes, ButtBella, lol!) very fun post Em!

  175. Kathy G says:

My secret is that I am a TOTAL James Bond fan! I have seen all the Bond movies numerous times, and can name every villian, side-kick, and Bond girl! If there is a James Bond movie on, I’m watchin’ it!

  176. Sara Spencer says:

This is so funny! I loved reading everyone’s comments. Here’s mine: My family is aware of this one and they tease me endlessly for it, but I would never admit this to anyone else. I cannot, will not, sleep unless my blanket and sheet is perfectly wrinkle free, smooth and tucked in everywhere all the way up to my chin with no air escaping in. You would never find me with a toe or a hand outside the blanket…because who knows what’s out there to grab you or bite you!!! I know, totally dumb. I am over 30 but I still can’t sleep unless my bed is just right. And to top it off I have to brush my feet off before getting into bed to ensure that no sock lint makes it’s way in. You know, the kind that gets stuck between your toes! ha ha I hope I win for this one.

  177. Sarah says:

I love reading all these secrets! They’re great! Mine: I’m a guilty shopper! I take all the price tags off my scrapbooking buys before I get home so my hubby won’t know how much money I’ve spent! I think if he really knew he’d die (he’s a little thriftY!) And, I’m addicted to ebay! I check it all the time (which I don’t recommend, it has a nasty side effect: high credit card bills!)

  178. Mary Jane D. says:

It’s interesting reading everyone’s secrets. My secret…hmm…I love the show Top Chef, but HATE to cook. I love to bake, but meal time at our house is a struggle for me. DH pointed out that I watch every episode of Top Chef, but still don’t like cooking. Oh, well. Not as a great a secret as some of the others I’ve read here, but not many people know it. Thanks for the chance to win.

  179. Meahni says:

Oh my goodness what a lot of secrets! Amazing what you can get out of people for 50 bucks 😉
So here’s my secret. I think George Clooney is gay! LOL!!!!!

  180. Shirley says:

I am totally addicted to Korean dramas and I will sit for hours watching it on tv.

  181. Shirley says:

I am totally addicted to Korean dramas and I will sit for hours watching it on tv.

  182. DONNA says:

A bunch of us were in Toronto for Union seminar and Whoopi Goldberg was there filming a movie and we found out what room she was staying in and stood outside singing and carrying on. We made friends with one of her aids which turned out to be her brother, he got us all autographed pictures of her and then her manager came to our meeting room to let us know that Whoopi had left the building so they had no problem figuring out who was making a scene. It was embarrasing but so much fun, we even hid in one of the scenes trying to get into the movie.

  183. Leslie G says:

I cannot tell you HOW much I have enjoyed reading all these – I have tears in my eyes laughing at some of them! I think we should have another contest where we VOTE on a winner. I’m pretty much “what you see is what you get kind of gal” but the only secret I have, well had, is that I’m a neat/clean/tidy freak BUT for a year secretly had a cleaning lady come to the house and never told my hubby – he still doesn’t know but I’m back to doing it myself now! 🙂

  184. Christy says:

This is SO much fun! My secret is that I’m laughing so hard at these posts that I think I peed a little!

  185. Linda R. says:

OMG, I am laughing so hard, esp. at Karen Motz. You’ll never believe this but I’m exactly the same way with The Wizard of Oz. I’ve never seen it, and I’m determined to never watch it, so I can continue to say I’ve never seen it! Hahaha. But that’s not my secret. My secret is that sometimes when my family thinks I’m making cards in the basement, I’m actually dancing all by myself. I love to dance, but I never go out dancing, so I have to dance alone! LOL.

  186. Renee says:

This is so fabulous!!! I am feeling pretty good right now as I can relate to so many of the entries. Or should I be feeling bad hmmmm?? Even with that admission I find it hard to share I mean a secret is a secret right? Well here goes one I am horrible with names and have faked my way through countless encounters with folks whom I really really should have known their name rather than admit I had forgotten.

  187. Sue says:

Ok – my dirty secret. I am vegan – meaning I don’t eat any meat or dairy – including eggs and cheese. Here’s my secret: I could not give up milk chocolate. I have a stash in my stamp room of really good chocolates. You know, the expensive good ones. I figure if I am cheating, I better do it the right way – only the best chocolates pass through these lips! My husband thinks I’m just up there stamping away – little does he know I have my stash of forbidden goods. No true vegan would eat milk chocolate, but I just couldn’t bare to give up on that tasty treat! That means I am a bad, (but very happy)vegan.

  188. Alyssa says:

My dirty little secret is that I love computer puzzle games like Bejeweled. I will spend, literally, hours playing games and then get mad at myself for wasting so much time! You would think I had been raised Catholic with all the guilt! LOL :o)

  189. Joni H says:

My secret is crafting! I’m an athletic person and my friends would find it hard to believe that I absolutely LOVE making cards and scrapbooking. I can’t figure it out myself. Maybe my grandmother influenced me more than I realized. The internet brought a new life with on-line companies and blogs. The supplies and inspiration are limitless! What a fun challenge!

  190. I love the ’80’s. The awful hair, the clothes, the toys… ROFL I wish I could still have hair 4 feet high without being made fun of…. hee hee

  191. BarbW. says:

Sorry I came into this late. My first secret is that I have become addicted to the game Bookworm. None of my friends or relatives know this except for my husband who caught me once because I was “gone” for hours. Several times I had to pause the game just to flit over to the washroom before I had an accident. My best score was just over 500,000 points before the flaming tiles of doom exploded on me. My other secret is many years ago, while working as a secretary in a very male-dominated, hierarchical organization, I learned to read upside down. My boss, you see, had a nasty habit of putting his papers neatly in front of him on his desk while talking to me & it was the only way I could find out things he wouldn’t tell me. If they only knew the things I found out – HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE.

  192. Cheryl says:

So my secret is that I tape Young and Restless everyday and watch it on the weekends. I do not tape the whole hours as that takes longer to watch. I only tape the last 45 mins which give me just enough to know what is going on. Part of my entertainment is to figure out where the plot is going before the storyline tells us. I know there are more closet soap opera watchers out there

  193. Angie says:

OK, here goes…. I have NEVER told ANYONE how much money I have spent on my crafting since I started a few years ago. I could probably have a new car paid for by now… Oops… 🙂

  194. Gena says:

Ok, so I am a huge rock person, love Led Zeppelin, black Sabbath, Metallica, etc……Was never really into pop music or dance music and I could not believe it but I balled my eyes out when Michael jackson died. I’ve never really liked his music or cared for him all that much, but cried so much when he died and then again watching the memorial. I even have a secret playlist on my Ipod with all his songs now….. Go figure!

  195. Jessica says:

Ok, secrets…besides the unholy amount of money I’ve (totally justifiable and neededly) spent on scrapbooking materials over the years, a non-scrapping secrets is my clandestine addiction to reality TV. It started with American Idol and Amazing Race. Those got pretty formulaic for me after a couple of seasons, and it looked like I was weaned off. Then So You THink you Can Dance came along, and I was totally hooked again. Then Bravo and its whole lineup – Project Runway, Top Chef, OMG – came along and those are still legit reality right? :). Then, one unforunate weekend, I flipped to the VH1 channel and got sucked into a Real Housewives marathon. I think I’ve now seen all of the OC, NY and NJ epsiodes. And I’m TIVOing for the next seasons. EEK! So there. I love trashy and not so trashy reality TV! (BTW-AttiTUDE totally rocks for me when I think of reality TV). – Jessica

  196. Chris says:

If I had to name my favorite movie(s), it would be the first three movies in the Die Hard series. No particular favorite among them – I’ll watch whichever one is on at the moment. But not on network TV. You can’t kick butt without letting loose a few (okay, a lot of) bad words! I should just buy the DVDs and get it over with.

  197. Arlene says:

These stories are too funny. I’ve read and loved every one of them. One of my secrets is I can’t have certain foods touching each other. Now I’m not a picky eater at all and will eat just about everything. It’s just that certain foods can’t touch. There also certain foods like beets that need to be on a seperate plate so that the beet juice doesn’t get on my other food. When I was little if some of my food touched I’ld have to empty the plate and start over – arlene

  198. Okay, here it is, but you have to promise that no one else will find this out. I’m a total Cool Whip junkie. That’s right, in the wee hours of the morning, while I’m crafting, it suddenly comes upon me…I have to have my cool whip fix! Not, ice cream, chocolate, frosting, cookies or some other sweet treat…just a big old tub of cool whip (the lite variety) and a spoon. I love the stuff! I keep the freezer well stocked and recyle the tubs as soon as I finish one so my hubby doesn’t even know of this addiction. You never heard this from me though….

  199. Nicole says:

hmmm just one secret that I can share on here publically lol!! Its a well known fact I love cupcakes, but most people dont know I would be just as happy to eat vanilla frosting straight out of the can or bowl if it’s homemade. I admit I have bought a can sometimes just to grab a spoon and eat some 🙂
thanks for the chance at a shopping spree Em 🙂

  200. Lisa T says:

Oh my, do I even dare admit my secret? Well, you seem to delight in hearing all of our silly little revelations and this one should give you a laugh. When I was a little girl, I absolutely ADORED Mr. Rogers. My best friend, Stephanie, however liked Batman. (Yuck!) And they were on TV *at the same time*! (OK, I’m old – – This is w-a-y before VCRs, much less TiVo. We’re talking pre-remote controls – a reality that totally boggles my daughters’ minds.) Anyway, back to the story…. We argued over which one we would watch (I, of course, wanted to watch Mr. Rogers) and, when she wouldn’t agree, I picked up a toy and hit my friend on the head!

    :sigh: Yes, violence in the name of Mr. Rogers. Somehow, I don’t think I guy who wore slippers and cardigan sweaters and was best friends with X the owl and Henrietta Pussycat would approve! {hanging my head in shame…}

  201. Jennifer R. says:

Okay — this isn’t a nice secret like most of the others about TV shows and stuff. My husband drives me nuts because he wants to use a clean, fresh towel every day after his shower. I think he can reuse the towels for two or three days in row before I have to do more wash. I have a busy life with working and three kids and etc. So, I put his towel in the dryer and get it warm and fold it and then he thinks I wash his towels everyday. A little mean? I don’t think so. I will continue to do this until we win the lottery! $50.00 will help! LOL 🙂

  202. My secret… I just got married in Vegas! It won’t be a secret for long, but right now… Shhhhhhhh…

  203. JenniferCR says:

Ok…I’m only saying this here because this is for $50 in bella bucks and that is seriously worth it’s weight in gold. So, you know those hankies (aka handkerchiefs) that older men carry around with them? Well, my dad has always carried one with him since I was a little girl. I should say I’m only 31 and my dad’s 59 years old so he wasn’t exactly an “old man” then and he’s not now either, lol! Anyway, I would always take one of his and sleep with it carry it with me and rub the edges of it (nervous habit maybe). Well, I still have some and I still need to sleep with one. If I have a particularily stressful day, say a doctor’s appt, etc. I’ll bring it with me in the car and tuck it with me in my purse! Hehe! So, I guess it’s my version of a kid’s “blankie” that I never let go of! I still get new ones from my dad every once and a while too! And they always have our last initial “C” embroidered on them too (giggle as it’s now my maiden name)! I guess I’ll always be my daddy’s little girl, huh?

Alright…you did promise to not tell anyone else, right? LOL! =)

  204. Tina says:

My worst addiction to admit is that I stay up waaay too late stalking blogs, but I can’t help it, lol! There is so much inspiration out there and sooo many talented people creating beautiful projects. Another one is that I looove True Crime shows: Investigative Reports, Forensic Files, the Dominic Dunn one, The First 48. Well, you get my drift, I could go on 🙂

  205. Kristyn says:

Only my sister knows this (and she only knows b/c she caught me early one morning) but I love Japanese Anime cartoon shows especially Sailor Moon and Inuysha. I used to set my alarm to catch the early morning show before high school for Sailor Moon. I would sit real close to the TV and watch it with super low volume so no one would know. Later during college I would stay up for Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network to catch the Inuysha series when my roommates were already tucked up in their beds. Why do I love these stories so much??? I think a big part of it is I love fantasy and romance stories and both these things happen to be part of those series 😛

  206. Michelle H says:

I hope it’s not too late….I have a secret to share and boy would I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win that $50! Here’s my seret, silly little thing that it is but….I can’t leave the house without my jewelry on! I have to have my earrings, a certain bracelet (Pandora my daughter gives me charms for) and, if I forget my wedding rings I will turn around and risk being late just to get them! I can handle being without most of it but will double check my drawer where I put it when I get home……except my wedding rings! LOL! Those, like I said, I will go back hme for! LOL! I guess I love my honey and need those rings! LOL! Sad, but true… Thanks for a great chance on being able to feed my need for Bella “stuff”! I will tell you one more secret too….this one is a little silly but, I don’t like being called “Grandma”! I have one Grandson whom I just adore and to him…I am called….”Bella”! LOL! I just ordered some of your charms too for making him a little “something” that says “I Love Bella”! How perfect is that?! LOL! Thanks again

  207. Angela L. says:

My secret is that I’m really into healthy, green, save the planet stuff but you wouldn’t know it to see me. I try and hide it well. For some reason, I’m afraid what people might think of me. But, I’m sure as I get better at doing this in a healthy way, it will be difficult to hide so for now it’s my secret.

  208. Betty says:

My secret…my daughter is going to crack up. When she is in school, I pull out her Hannah Montana CD’s and clean the house to them. I know all the lyrics, and can do the Hoedown Throw Down dance to a T! When the movie came to theaters, I dragged her and her little friend to it, I used it as an excuse saying she wanted to see it, but inside I really was like and ADHD kid at Sunday mass!

  209. Gretchen says:

How fun is this?! I love reading everyone’s little secrets, especially for some bella bucks! My secret is that a few years ago on a girls only weekend in Texas, my 3 girlfriend’s and I got our belly buttons pierced! I love buying jewelry for my “button” and change it often to match my outfits! I’m a 40 year old mother of 4 so (as you can imagine) NO ONE sees my midriff but I still love having a little secret under my shirt!!

  210. Vicki Morris says:

Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I am going to admit to this, it’s soooooo embarrassing but no one in the world knows this but I guess alot of people will now. Good thing you can’t see my face, I am 3 shades of red right now, lol. Okay, here goes, many years ago, I had to take one of my sons to the doctor. We only had one car so I had to take hubby to the Navy base and drop him off. I started feeling really bad and barely made it home before I had to go to the bathroom. I felt so bad but had to take my son to the doctor. I can’t believe I’m telling this but I want that qk Bella die really bad, lol. While standing in line, lets just say I had to pass some gas (I really was feeling bad). I blamed it on my sweet little baby. Hey, he was still in diapers so it worked but I felt so bad blaming him. After I checked in I told the nurse I had to go change his diaper. What a bad mommy I was, lol. I never ever told a soul. Till now, just because I want that beautiful Bella die, I can’t believe I told that secret. LOL

  211. Steph says:

Oh these are sooo good!!! I have nodded my head in agreement to some of them (oh yes, I am guilty of them too!!)

  212. Steph says:

    P.S. I don’t do that every night! lol 😉 …………..honest!!! x

  213. Hello!
Okay, I’m not proud of this, but when I was pregnant with #3 I craved the taste of rubber bands. I loved the smell of them and I really just wanted to chew them like a piece of gum. I don’t remember ever actually doing it though. 🙂 I also love the smell of new tires……..all the time.

    🙂 Linda

  214. My secret may be the most shameful one of all. I haven’t bought any Stamping Bella stamps since Emily opened the Boutique. Emily, do you remember me coming to the store when you were just setting up? I have an excuse though! I bought quite a few stamps all at once and use them all the time BUT it’s definitely time to get new ones!!! 😮

  215. Lisa says:

truth is I can’t keep secrets lol
but well here’s something that not many know
    I’ve always wanted black hair
I’ve never coloured my hair but if I were to do it I’d love to do it black
    and those kettos
    well
    those cute hairstyles intrigue me
can you imagine taking one of those stamps to the hairdressor and asking them to create “that” look
yup blonde wanting to go black

  216. Jude says:

    I read all the entries… wow..good read…:)
My dirty lttle secret is… I work in a small office, my boss has blocked facebook which is fine by me…becasue I am addicted to SPLITCOASTER!
He thinks he has one up on me… but I don’t think soo!!! and Emily was the one to introduce me to the Splitcoaster site my very first visit in her store.
    Thanx Em

  217. Alexis Hilgert says:

Two words: Jerry Springer. I love him. I am fairly certain the whole show is fake (it MUST be!!) but I am still completely addicted to it. It doesn’t matter how bad I’m feeling, I always feel better after watching the crazies that go on that show. I chant along with the audience “Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!” and I cheer when anyone starts fighting!!! It just cracks me up. The more outrageous the better. And he seems like he’d be such a sweet old man, which makes me laugh even harder.

  218. Mandi says:

Thanks Em for the chance to win such great blog candy. I loved reading everyone’s secrets. I can relate to some of them for sure. Okay I have two secrets I will share. First my one secret is that I love the website Wikipedia. I think it is the best site ever. And I could spend hours on there at a time. And when anything major happens (especially celebrity related) I will go on the Wikipedia site and see if they have updated it yet. Yes I am a total nerd. Okay and for another secret I hate going to the doctor because I hate getting on the scale to be weighed. I don’t have a ton of weight to lose, but I could lose the 20 lbs. I gained when I was pregnant a few years ago. Anyway recently when I went to the doctor the nurse called me back and I was like oh do I have to get on the scale. I just went to my WW (weight watchers) meeting the other day and I can tell you what it said on their scale. So the nurse said okay. I said 148.4 and also threw in the so far I’ve lost a little over 12 lbs. since starting WW two months ago. I thought it made the story more believable throwing in the .4 on the weight and mentioning that I’d lost 12 lbs. so far. My secret is that I haven’t been to WW in over 3 years and when I weighed myself on my bathroom scale that morning I subtracted 3 lbs. from what my scale at home said. Why subtract 3 lbs. and not 5 or why not just tell her what my bathroom scale said! lol I seriously hate being weighed in a public setting though! lol Thanks again though for the chance to win some fat-free blog candy!

  219. Randi Barrett says:

I am secretly wishing to start a blog. So sad! Just do it. Right?

  220. Margo says:

My secret is that I am deathly afraid of cats – I can pick up any size of snake or spider, but the sight of one fluffy cat makes panic, and hyperventilate. I was attacked by a cat at about age 12, and they freak me out so much now. I have even “quit” friendships with people who have cats, as I just can’t go to their homes, I am that freaked out.

  221. Louisa says:

ok my secret….. i am obsessed with E! Entertainment channel! I love it! I love knowing all the gossip and what famous people are doing and wearing! E! news is probably my favourite with Daily 10 being a close second! I live in the UK i and dont always know who the celebrity is so i would google them to find out! LOL! how sad?!

  222. Leslie W says:

Wow how do you top these? I went through the list….Twighlight addict, candy stasher, reality show watcher, Perez Hilton blog stalker, Harry Potter nerd…check, check and check!!! I guess that I am an absolute Coronation Street fanatic!! I PVR it during the week and on Sundays just in case something bad happens and it won’t tape! If I miss a word…I have to go back and watch it again (and I mean 1 word)! I also dated the drummer of a famous Canadian band in High School….before he was in the band does that count???

  223. Carol S says:

I totally love this topic, what fun it was to read all those. I am not sure what little secret I have to share. Is not liking Twilight considered a ‘secret’? I watched that movie and just thought it was bad…the whole movie was them staring at each other – maybe I am getting old lol! Ooh, I guess I can tell you that when I go to the grocery store I will buy myself something bad and hide it so that no one else will eat it! mmmmm!

  224. I pick stickers – you know off of fruit ‘n stuff… I’m addicted to tape/stickers. When I am bored, stressed or just for no reason at all I’ll break off a piece of tape or while at the grocery store it calms me to fiddle with a sticker or a piece of tape in my fingers – weird! I know 😛

  225. Kelli says:

I keep my secret from myself, I don’t think I could handle the truth, but here it is, this pretty thin girl I see in my head, does not exist anymore, and the reflection I see in the mirrow when I am brave enough to look, is actually me.

  226. Okay, but since I didn’t laugh at YOU, then you have to promise not to laugh at ME (which a friend of mind did recently when she discovered my secret).

I can’t touch raw meat with my bare hands. Chicken, ground beef, pork chops. Can’t do it. Totally grosses me out. I will wear disposable latex gloves to prepare meat for cooking. I still don’t like it, but I wanna eat so I do it anyway.

Here’s another one for you. I can’t stick my hand into the garbage disposal to retrieve a utensil even when it’s turned off. Totally freaks me out. Can’t do it. My friend must have laughed at me for 5 minutes recently when she found this out! LOL 🙂

    Corinna

  227. Michele V says:

I drink pickle juice! I can’t believe I’m posting this ~ well not like I have a glass full or anything like that – when the pickles are finished I will have a big swig (or two) before dumping the juice down the drain….AND if you ask me, I will deny it!
Whew…glad we weren’t asked to post anything naughty!

  228. First, let me preface this by saying that I am a United States Marine. I wear combat boots every day. I am the only girl in my shop (and I’m the boss). I am a gym rat who does triathlons and half-marathons for fun. The guys who work with me know I scrap, know I LOVE Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, and know that I listen to talk radio. They have even seen me spend my lunch time crocheting a baby blanket. The thing I will NEVER tell them is that I secretly LOVE to watch The Real Housewives of Orange County. I don’t know what it is. Perhaps I want to see the rich fake *_$#$%* makes asses of themselves, but I just have to watch. I absolutely enjoy when they display ignorance, that makes me giggle to no end. And the two-facedness, oh my! It is SO entertaining. And since I have been too busy to watch tv for the last 4+ months, my DVR is probably overflowing with episodes that I will hopefully soon get to spend an entire weekend catching up on.

  229. Kimmie says:

Secrets?? I don’t have no stinkin’ secrets!! Seriously…I tell everybody pretty much everything. I’m a total Harry Potter nerd, I’m a total vampire story nerd (not just Twilight, also Charlaine Harris, MaryJanice Davidson, Patricia Briggs, Michele Rowen etc.), my guilty summer pleasure is Big Brother…yes, I admit it….I watch ONLY reality tv, I’m a movie addict…the list of weirdness goes on and on. But probably the only thing I do that sometimes makes people roll their eyes, is I buy the seasons of Survivor on DVD. Yes, I’ve seen every episode and I know how each season ends…but I just love rewatching all the challenges and the tribal councils. I love that show….not to mention I have wonderful dreams about Jeff Probst each night!! *sigh* Oh….was that too much???

  230. Cassandra says:

Secrets? Huh. I really don’t have many secrets. I am an open book about most things.

I guess one of my few secrets would be that I scrounge in LOTS of places for money for crafts. Change in the washer? Mine! Change in the parking lot? Mine! When my son was newly born I took change out of his “diaper fund” jar because I was craving new supplies….::hangs head:: Yes, I am ashamed….but when you are low on funds and the buying bug gets you, well….

  231. My secret is I am still afraid of the dark. Yes, if I come home late I run up the walkway and almost kill myself trying to get into the house. Once I am in I have to run upstairs and almost have a panic attack until I see my hubby and pretend nothing is wrong with me. I think he is on to me. 🙂

  232. Danielle says:

I never in a million years would have guessed that someone else on this blog would share my secret! I also am a closet Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan…whoda thunk…and I am the same age as April who confessed first! Well, guess it’s out of the closet now!

  233. -Agnes- says:

OK here it goes: Because I’m addicted to chocolate I try to stay away from it in the supermarkets so we never have any at home – but then I try to make my own by mixing butter and cocoa and drinking chocolate powder!
