I am using a time on the blog which doesn’t coincide with the time the blog says.. does that even make sense? Oh well we will see! So if you are late in submitting your card, you will have to wait til I get back from VACAY.. k? (vacay K.. LOL)
So let’s talk about what I have packed so far for my trip.. we are leaving tomorrow for our destination in Ogunquit Maine on Sunday.. we are stopping in Albany tomorrow, Boston on Saturday and Ogunquit on Sunday for the week… Please pray for me (or them RATHER) to not FLING my children out the window. LOL
If anyone has any tips, or advice, or restaurants to go to places to see, please feel free to post it on this entry! I love when da sistahs write me comments.. Have I mentioned that lately?

SCORE! If you think I packed my clothes and makeup yet, you are wrong! LOL! Priorities I say!

Love all the gorgeous cards and some of the insides. I think it is really neat how the gals have stamped the design from the outside on the inside and leave it blank. It adds such a nice touch to the card.

Have a great vacation, the whole family!! I would really love to see some photos from Maine. New England is a favourite place of mine, especially in the fall.
I’m not sure, but it looks like Regabella lets her daughter and friend use her prisma’s. My 9 years old sister asks me all the time if she can use mine I’m always like ‘umm…no.’ lol. My sister is like a boy when it comes to pencils, markers, etc. She is so hard on them. And I LOVE my prisma’s and copics. I would probably spontaneously combust if she wrecked them….lol. So I bought her some of her own that say ‘Artist pencils’ on the package. She was happy with that and so was I.
Cards are wonderful as usual, loving the inside of the card. I’m going to try to make a few of my own.

re:packing, you can always buy clothes. art supplies, different story. I found Boston to be very confusing to drive in. first time encountering roundabouts there. and its not linear.
re: travelling with kids, pack a soccer ball or frisbee so that when you stop for a ‘bio break (toilet)’ at a nice rest stop, you can all run around and let off some steam before getting back into the car.
obviously, keep a family travel journal that everyone can contribute to at the end of each day, including dad. bring a stapler too.
re: cards creations, its an extra bonus to have a co-ordinating inside.

Oarweeds is amazing on OGT, I have been going since a child and now have my own child. The atmosphere is great expecially when you have children. The owner even makes it more special, definately try it out. Honestly every restraunt is amazing in OGT. Have a great time.
