it’s MOOONDAY- MORE SNEAKY PEEKIES!

and we are waiting for a big storm here in Toronto.  Hmph.. supposed to come tomorrow night..we shall see.. but the good news is, this week is gonna be a WEEK full of sneak peeks so you know what that means?   Our release is gonna be NEXT MONDAY.. or maybe before.. hehehe… we will see…

I must introduce our brand new artist.. her name is DIANE DUDA.  If you haven’t heard of her or seen her gorgeous work.. shame on you..LOL.  Just kidding..  Go and visit her  on her BLOG   and her amazing pinterest boards featuring her art HERE

and here’s Diane’s Bio:

Diane Duda is a self-taught artist who has found modest success and much happiness creating her “silly little works of art”.

She lives in a small Pennsylvania town with her husband, Mike, her three almost grown sons, two dogs and three cats.  She finds inspiration from her family, pets, childhood memories, song lyrics and fairytales.

She hopes that you find her characters cute, but quirky;  sweet, but not too sweet.  Her intent is to put a smile upon your face.

Diane has a successful online store and her artwork has been featured on various licensed products such as figurines, wall art and fabric blocks.

When I first saw Diane’s work I fell in love.  It made me smile.. her words made me nod my head.. made me say “YES! she’s GOT IT!”.. And I just felt I had to share her talent and wisdom with my sistahs..

We have 4 of her images being released next week and here is one of them… Let me tell you how hard it was to choose.. and needless to say this is a growing collection!

__OOPS almost forgot the NEWS… It’s regarding our shipping.  We have had to remove our $4.99 shipping from our website.. for the last year I have realized how much money I have lost.. and that money can go towards more releases, no?  So I have gotten rid of UPS (had issues with their deliveries) and have gone with Canada Post.. their rates really are the best and the most economical.  Postage and Courier rates have gone up exponentially in the past couple of years and I have not followed suit.. so 2013 is the time where I felt I needed to do this.  I hope da sistahs understand.. It was a difficult decision as I am always trying to please but this one I had to make..

It’s AJ TOOSDAY on WENNNSDAY!

Hiya sistahs!  I was buried under orders and trying so hard to see the light and got a little nudge from our very own sistah pinky saying.. ummmm lady.. I need something to read 🙂

I so don’t have any muse but I do want to tell you that the RUBBAH for the new release is being made as we speak! and boyoboyoboy are you gonna LOVE the new images!  9 in TOTAL!! woohoo!  Stay tuned for some sneak peeks!

So for AJ TOOSDAY I asked you to make a page with flowers… I need to see spring somewhere.. cuz it ain’t outside 🙁

So for today’s theme I took out my watercolors which I have been playing with lately and took out a piece of yummy watercolor paper and went a bit “mental”.. LOL.. But I LOVE the results!

it’s AJ TOOSDAY on TOOSDAY sistahs!

Hiya tootsie rolls..

How was DA WEEKEND?  Do anything exciting?  well we are inundated with orders and I am working on our new release (veHerry soon).. if anyone is in an urgent rush for their goodies, please drop me an email and I will dig.. k?  We are trying as quickly as we can!

Ok for this week’s aj toosday, I asked you to use TAPE on your page. …  let’s see what the creatives came up with shall we?

I decided to stick some strips of masking tape on a piece of wax paper.. then I doodled, stamped, painted , splotched etc on them and waited for them to dry…

I then tore strips and bits and pieces and used them on this page below.  I will then keep this in my “stash” for future use!  These are great to use on cards, layouts, canvases etc.. had so much fun with it!
