know what I’m talking about? hehehe it’s the event of the YEAR!
you can find all information HERE if you want to attend.. Angela Urbano and I will be hosting a class there.. well *ahem* Angela is actually teaching.. I will be there for entertainment..LOL :).. It is supposed to be an amazing event :).. anything that Catherine from SCT puts together is phenom.. so if you have not registered yet, might I suggest you do so ASAP? LOL
So lets discuss a little bit what the class Angela is teaching is about. First of all, if you dont know Angela, she is an AMAZING scrapbooker.. Life journaler.. her style is graphic and clean. Just gorgeous!
The class is called LIFEBOOK 101.. here’s a little excerpt of what the class is about:
“Are you one of those scrappers who can’t think of the right words to say on a layout? Do you hesitate when writing what you truly feel when you are in the moment? Do you suffer from JOURNALER’S BLOCK?
Conceived by Angela Urbano and Emily Block , Lifebooking is a new revolutionary way of looking at how we we scrapbook. Lifebooking is BOOKING LIFE not scraps..LOL. It’s time to track the little details of your life.. the simple facts to the most difficult emotions.. and the lightbulb to the Seinfeld moments we experience every day. A lifebook page doesn’t always start with a visual, a colour palette, a photo or pretty patterned paper.. Sometimes it’s the words that tell the story. Angela and I have been hard at work developing a new concept. A concept that is extremely important for future generations. It’s called LIFEBOOK. It’s a verb.. ie. DO YOU LIFEBOOK? or OMG I HAVE TO LIFEBOOK this moment :)… it can also be a noun… I am a LIFEBOOK GEEK/NERD.. LOL ..
The foundation of lifebooking can be different for everyone… Angela loves to Lifebook on 12*12 pages.. I LOVE to lifebook in my journal.. you can lifebook on a napkin, toilet paper.. a bar coaster…
So what is a lifebook you ask? Well, it’s a place where you can document your every day musings, thoughts, events, conversations. A place to put random pictures that will be appreciated in years to come. How I can’t wait til my kids look back at my lifebooks and giggle.. cry.. and understand that their mom is more than a mom.. but a PERSON. Are you angry that you ate that MARS BAR? Stick the wrapper in your lifebook and write why you are angry about it and in 20 years, our kids won’t even know what a Mars bar is… in effect, it is creating your own history. Write the weather down.. your mood… what you REALLY felt this day or that day.. It’s your place to say it as it is.
Now along with the concept of LIFEBOOKING will come a series of PHENOM stamps that will be used in your lifebook.. whether it be on a 12*12 layout, your daily agenda, or your journal. These stamps will be a series of icons.. and prompts to help you get in the habit of lifebooking. They are the CUTEST things ever (if I do say so myself..LOL).. and they will be SO useful :). We will have a WHOLE series that you will NEED and WANT to collect.
I think the daily nonsense.. the daily grind is what scrapbooking is really about. Of course celebrating the loss of a tooth is an amazing feat.. but what about the tooth fairy.. how you explained her to your kids.. what about the PRIDE on your child’s face.. documenting what they felt.. documenting what you felt when your child lost that tooth… like OMG I KNOW this kid will need braces.. and how much is that gonna cost me! As TABOO as that sounds on a scrapbook layout, it’s OK to say that in your lifebook. Your kids will thank you for it. Trust me!

I’m alive
I am alive sistahs.. I am on the mend… I have never been that sick before in my life but I am hoping with a little R&R, I will be back to 100% soon. I came into the office after not being here for almost 2 weeks! I missed Denabella and Helenabella so much!
I wanted to just come on here to say hi.. and to say that I miss you 🙁 and to say that I will be MUCH more verbose in the next coupla weeks.
I am working on a PHENOM new release .. and some other GREAT news coming your way!

Seems like I am gonna be mia for a little longer . I have now been in bed since last Tuesday and have visited my doctor today. Have been given meds and cough suppressant. We are moving tomorrow! I am not quite sure yet what they will do for me
I am surmising that more of what happened this weekend will happen tomorrow. Everyone working around me. Maybe they can staple me to the bed, staple the covers around me and slip me in the moving truck?
I wish you all a very happy and healthy holiday. Be safe, be warm and WASH YOUR HANDS all the time lol

It’s bellarific friday!
Hiya sistahs,
I am going to keep this short and sweet. I have a HORRIBLE flu and have been in bed for 4 days.. cannot move.. the doctor said just a few more days of feeling horrible.. grrr.. I hate being out of control, helpless, weak. I thank my lucky stars I have my devoted DENABELLA and RUBYBELLA taking over with my packing and the store business.. it’s crazy how sometimes you are FORCED to just stop. I am so sick, I can’t even argue..LOL. my kids and hubby are happy with that 🙂

Art Journaling MONDAY on TOOSDAY
Hiya sistahs
I am sitting here moping because I feel like my chest is caving in.. every cough is painful.. achy.. shaky.. BLECHY. I NEVAH admit that I am sick but now I kinda surrendah..LOL.. But NO I HAVE NO TIME TO BE SICK!! Ryan was shocked that I told him I was going to the clinic this morning. I NEVAH go to clinics.. cuz I am NEVAH sick ;). Such is my life at the mo. Feeling a little sorry for myself.. Moving houses in 7 days.. house is a DISASTER.. have orders to fulfill with deadlines.. oh and did I mention I was SICK? LOL.. Ok enough complaining

The theme this week was letters.. numbers..
Here is my collage page.. the quote “REDISCOVER DELICIOUS HARMONY” came from a Mcdonald’s ad in a magazine..LOL.. I loved that. everywhere I turned that paper was there.. I was so scared I would lose it, that I stuck it down in my book today. I tried this collage in a different sized journal.. I think I am in love.. it’s SO SMALL.. made by HANDBOOK and i think it’s a 3*5 or 4*6 size.. I love playing around in different books. Remind me to take a picture of my JOURNAL GRAVEYARD..LOL. I meant to but my darling husband closed every box I had open waiting for pictures etc.. oh well.. when I UNPACK, I will take a picture of it! I have about 30 journals either started, neglected, tossed, wrinkled.. but I can’t get rid of them.. I will get to them eventually 🙂

i dunno if any of you are like me but…
sometimes I feel like a bit of a voyeur…a voyeur in a good way I hope! LOL cuz that sounds reHeally bad.. but I LOVE looking at videos and blogposts where people show their studios, craft rooms, art supplies, travel bags, journaling stuff etc.. I get little goosebumps when I see new product I need to have (and therefore the shop needs to have) and bags, books, bowls, baskets etc.. as to where people stash their STUFFS… so…if you are interested, I thought I may post some things here from my studio (if that’s what you can call it..LOL.. it’s more like an unfinished basement).. and hopefully my new studio once I move in 3 weeks.. *thunk* (that was my jaw dropping just thinking of what I still have to do…)
Basically for the past month, little by little, I have been trying to organize all of my supplies.. finding homes for them so that the move to the new house will be easier..
So if you would like me to do some posts like this one, let me know! and if you have some FAVORITE storage bags/boxes/cases that you can’t live without, I would LOVE for you to post it in the comments!
Ok so for today, I would like to show you how I used my STICKER STADIUM by CROP and STYLE that I had my papers in before but now have found a new “life” for… OMG I LOVE IT! AND I am getting some more in the store next week!
So this is what the sticker stadium looks like.. it is meant for….. LOL your stickers, odd shaped papers etc.. it rises to different levels and STRETCHES so you can stuff it!
Well, guess what I used it for? I used it for ALL of my STENCILS/TEMPLATES and masks.. and I have a LOT OF THEM! For my cardboards and foam mats.. all the goodies I use to add texture to my canvases or art journal pages..it’s amazing! my little 6*6 plates go in the front and as they get bigger, they go to the slots behind.. my 12*12 in the back slot
