Sistahs,

another year has passed.  Where did all the time go?  hmph.  Kids are a year older, business is a year older.. I AM A YEAR OLDER.. I guess it is better than the alternative right? right!

I hope you are all celebrating tonight with your loved ones.. we are going to a friends house tonight and having about 25 people.. should be fun!  Actually very excited to welcome the new year.. new resolutions, new goals, new everything.  It is the time that the page is turned and we face new challenges.. and conquer them.

Not sure if any of you have made a list of “resolutions” for 2011 but here are some of mine (in no particular order AFTER #1..LOL) .  Would love to hear what da sistahs goals are!

(1) spend more time with my family.  It has been a CRAZY last 6 years and I can finally take some time to make them my priority (they have always been my priority but you know what I mean)… A lot of things have “fallen through the cracks” and I need to be HOME more and ENJOY them more.. they are getting so old (getting a little teary )

(2) live simply. “collect less”.. use what i have MORE.. and enjoy the simple things.  PURGE and CLEAN the stuff I don’t need and reorganize

(3) be healthy. Kick some bad habits and adopt some good ones.  I would usually say LOSE WEIGHT LOSE WEIGHT LOSE WEIGHT.  I am going to alter my focus and focus on HEALTH in general.. the rest should come by naturally (we can only hope!) LOL

(4) BLOG more. YUP I promise

(5) make art every day.  whether it be journaling, smearing paint on paper, making a beeyootiful card.. anything.  I have realized over the last year and a half that I NEED this in my life and I am going to make the time for myself.

(6) make more videos for you to enjoy and learn. Education is really important to me.. I am constantly learning new things and I would like to share it with you.  So stay tuned.

(7) HUG more

(8) be more ORGANIZED.  I think this will be my biggest hurdle LOL

(9) continue to bring you the BEST PRODUCTS EVAH

(10)  pay it forward.  Help people who need help.  Even just a little bit. AND make sure that the person does the same for the next person.

I am still thinking about what else I need to do.. this list will be evergrowing

Again my sistahs, I thank you again for your SUPPORT, LOVE and LOYALTY in 2010.  I have a LOT of AMAZING things planned for this year.. there is ONE thing I think will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF.. and we are going to have a GIGANTIC release in January for CHA.. stay tuned.

Hiya sistahs!  hope your week was great and that yesterday’s post made you giggle..I am still giggling.

Since the end of the year is approaching, I feel like the timing is appropriate to discuss another one of my “obsessions”… JOURNALS.. AGENDAS.. PLANNERS.. DIARIES.. PENS.. STATIONERY LOL.  Yes, one of my “secret obsessions” is watching my PVR’d  Judge shows.. but this is another one.

It always interests me how people organize themselves time wise since I am unable to (lol) but the irony of it all is that I just love all things FILOFAX or any other make like it.  One of my resolutions for 2011 is my schedule.  My time.  Time to make for ME.  Time to spend with my children who REALLY are craving it. Who REALLY need me. This year I am going to take that time.  I promised myself that and I promised THEM that.  And they are very excited I might add ,as am I.  I will discuss some further resolutions later on next week but wanted to get this one started and see what you sistahs use to organize your time.  I do have an Iphone but I cannot use the calendar in there .. I need to write things down in order to remember them SOMETIMES..lol

this little green one has a lot of meaning to me. I love this companie called (AGENDA MONDIALE) and when Ryan and I were in Paris, I dragged him to their little shop. They were all hand made in the back of this little shop and saw all the workers hand working the leather.. it was really an experience. One of the owners came to help me and she was DIVINE.. she built me one to my liking and had it ready for me before I left (I had ordered one locally but it never came in so I thought it was safe to assume that this would be the one.).. I just love this one from the memory it has for me but it is just a little too small

Remember I mentioned that I had ordered one from one of my favorite stores in Toronto (www.laywines.com) and it never came in? Well about a month ago, I received a call that it had come in.. hmph. So of course I went to visit it..LOL and fell in love. It was again from the same company in Paris and was custom made where there is no snap closure (which I LOVE)..beautiful pebbled leather, large rings.. just perfect. and the side view shows you how much I love this book. It is always with me. I use a week on two pages refill and a month at a glance.. I still am figuring out my divider titles but that's the fun part.. along with stamping in it and decorating it..

Here's another sample of Journaling. This is only one of the BEAUTIFUL pages that Dena has created in her MOLESKINE sketch journal. So colourful, so reflective... so her. I didn't have mine handy so I had to show you hers.. its gorgeous. And to just sit and drink a coffee and journal for YOU.. quotes you love, things you have seen, heard.. ideas on your mind.. So catharctic sistahs!

Ok I am not gonna bore you with ALL the pictures..LOL.  But I would LOVE to know what your “system” is?  What do you use to schedule your time?  If you love this as much as I do, I would recommend visiting 2 great blogs PHILOFAXY and PLANNERISMS.. they are amazing! and from there, you will find a whole new world.  Now don’t get me started on office supplies..LOL

Stamping is a very important part of my life (it better be! LOL).. I use my stamps in different areas.. my painted art work, my moleskine journal, my daily agenda… these things are MINE.. my inspiration.. my safe place and the stamps that inspire me are going to be in my happy place too!

So there you have it.  One of my favorite things that thankfully can incorporate MORE of my favorite things! LOL

Sistahs,

this is gonna be short and sweet but HILARIOUS..  Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post.. one of my favorite subjects

So last night Tyler decided to have a THleep over with Adam his best friend (I cant resist mimicking Tyler’s Lithp because apparently I have one too ).. In any event they are all excited… we prepare dinner for them (that’s FANCY for ordering pizza) and they are discussing all they have planned for the evening.. (need I say that they had spent the whole DAY together..LOL).. (if you would like to meet Adam and Tyler again you can look at this post .. just scroll down)

So Ryan and I set up the family room with the pullout sofa with fluffy pillows and comfy covers and of course I set up Jayden’s room (she is sleeping in Tyler’s room) for one of the kids when they decide they cannot THleep together… LOL (I am a pro at this)

So they play.. and they TALK.. and they LAUGH.. and they are THneaky and having an amazing time.. then I see my Tyler walk out of the room to Jayden’s room to sleep (told ya that would happen..LOL) and I go to bed.  The house is quiet.. all is nice..

Then at 3AM Ryan nudges me in bed and says “EM… EM.. look at this!”… so I am freaked out scared and BLIND cuz i don’t have my glasses on.. I quickly pat around and find them and Ryan whispers.. there is SOMEONE in our BED and it isn’t our child!!! LOLOL..  so I look and find Adam, out cold, next to Ryan breathing heavily and VERRRRY comfy.. LOLOL.. I swear, I haven’t had a laugh like that in a LOOOONG time.  We both have NO Idea when he arrived.. LOL.  So now that I was up, I went downstairs to pour myself a drink and when I come up the stairs I see Ryan escorting Adam back to his bed .. lol.  Apparently he woke up .. stared at Ryan.. Ryan stared at him.. Ryan asked when he got there .. he replied he didn’t know and off he went back to bed.  When he woke up, I was ribbing him and he didn’t remember a thing.. he told me he musta been SLEEPWALKING….

That just made my day.. His mom and I laughed SOOO hard.  At least he is comfy in my house right?

Now I know what is gonna happen tonight..  Tyler, in the middle of the night will DEFINITELY be “sleepwalking” and arrive in our bed… we shall see.. will keep you posted..

I am sitting here staring STRAIGHT ahead cuz I cannot move my head .. I am not sure what is going on but all i can tell you is that I have been in pain for the last few days… perhaps it is the stress of trying to get everything together for CHA and for preparing for another HUGE thing that will be happening in 2011.. can’t let any of that LEAK though…. but I promise.. it’s a GOOD thing!
