Sorry for the late post.. I have finally accomplished one of the things that I had set out to do in the beginning of the year.. I took a long drive all by MYSELF! LOL. I went to visit PAULABELLA in Michigan and Lindabella met us there on Friday.. We had SUCH a phenom time.. laughed, ate, journaled, coloured.. you name it.. we did it! Mary Clark also met us Thank you Paulabella for hosting such a great weekend. I had SUCH an amazing time. And needed it so very badly

Sistahs.. OK… so aside from my stamping and embroidery addiction, the creation of new stamps, tools etc I also love MAKEUP as you may all know… hmph. So I took a little break from a BiZzy day and went shopping cuz I needed some FOUNDATION for my face… WELL.. the foundation turned into a bit of a spree
Someone once told me that NARS foundation was great.. so that is where I started..LOL.. and continued.. and continued…
So here is what I bought and what I ADORE..
(1) NARS FOUNDATION (SHEER GLOW)– leaves a gorgeous DEWY texture
(2) NARS ORGASM blush (that’s the COLOUR ladies)- one sold every 4 seconds in the world- that and the BRONZER I use.. NARS LAGUNA
(3) NEW COLOUR LIPSTICK called CHRISTINA (not 100% sure about this one) I am used to such drabby lipstick colours.. this actually has a bit of OOMPH.. so gonna try it out!
(4) new goldish lipgloss… YUM! NARS called MOONFLEET
(5) KIEHLS- SUPERFLUID UV DEFENSE SPF 50 to put on over my moisturizer
(6) CLARINS concealer
(7) BOBBI BROWN GEL EYELINER in CAVIAR (LOOOVE THIS)
(8) and a new brush FOR THE GEL EYELINER (goes on like BUDDAH)
(9) BOBBI BROWN BRONZER BRUSH (LOOOVE)
(10) LASH FUSION XL MASCARA- looking for a new one.. anyone with SUGGESTIONS?
AND THEN I BOUGHT AN EYE CREAM.. a new one from KIEHLS.. AVOCADO TREATMENT.. sounds LUSCIOUS but when I came home this is what was on it .. ONLY I would be the one coming home with a TESTER.. grrrr.. so now I have to wait til a new one comes in the mail
I also bought THIS eye cream. And I HAVE NOT STOPPED TEARING since..LOL.. my eyes are dripping. so this is a real NO NO for moi. (but I gave it to Dena to see if she likes it )
So that is my list of thingies bought.. aren’t they yummy? and I am SOOOO BEEEYYOOOOOTIFUL right now..LOL
I am OFF to MICHIGAN to visit Paulabella tomorrow for some girly time and to hang out and SHOP for some black friday specials!! And LINDABELLA is joining us on Friday!

Ok, I still have a coupla minutes to spare so I have to tell you about DA WEIRDEST dream I had on Saturday night.. You know when you have these dreams and they are SO VIVID that you think they actually happened? Well, I had one of those..
Now I don’t want ANY comments from DA peanut gallery about Jenny Craig-low carb-no-carb-weight watchers-mediterranean-suzanne somers, ATKINS etc etc etc… YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. and YES, I have tried a KAJILLION diets and I just haven’t found the one that “fits”.. so HUSH will ya? (and YES, the one that fits is the one where you can eat like a piglet and lose weight. HMPH)
Ok so here’s my dream…
I was in England (no clue where) but everyone had a BriTTish (yes Isabelle that is for you.. I am not pronouncing it as BriDDish) accent.. I was in a TALL TALL building with lots of flat CARPETTED escalators.. (you know the flat ones that don’t turn into steps? YA that one).. I was with my aunt (who I haven’t spoken to in 5 years) and I had a slip of paper that had the number 16 on it. Now this building was BUSTLING with women walking, marching, on the escalator etc.. I asked a woman who passed me by where I could find “number 16″. She hmphe’d and told me I had to go up 16 flights of escalators. So off my aunt and I went. I knew this was some sort of Diet place.. kinda like Weight Watchers-esque but not called weight watchers… so I go up 16 escalators with my aunt whom I don’t talk to in tow and the number 16 on a wicket blinks.. so off I go.. I had to step on a scale meant for TRUCKS (I remember getting ANGRY in my dream and looked around and realized that everyone was being weighed on this industrial scale– WHEW!).. and the lady looks at me and says “you weigh 20 kgs” … she throws me some books to study and then proceeds to tell me that I am obese. So I look at my aunt and I say “isn’t 20kgs 35 pounds??”.. my aunt says YES and YOU ARE OBESE, emily. So I look around and In my head I am thinking.. 35 pounds is obese? I was ready to kick my legs up in the air and do the HULA out of happiness! So I look around and proceed to ask women how much they weigh.. one woman grunts at me and tells me she weighs 4 kgs (which is 9 pounds ‘ish).. another woman grunts and tells me she weighs 12 Kgs… So really in their books, 35 pounds was obese!! Ok.. so at that point I wake up and scream at Ryan (who is asleep next to me) to do a proper conversion of 20 kgs.. he looks at me blankly and goes back to sleep. HMPH.
So then I was rifling through some websites about organization (SHHHH to the same peanut gallery) and I came across something called “SLIMMING WORLD”.. I thought this was just a category for weight loss for this woman but I decided to google it anyway (cuz I nevah give up)… and then I see on the screen “SLIMMING WORLD… UK’S AMAZING DIET PLAN”….. hmmmm… I immediately thought that this was a “SIGN”… yes.. “A SIGN”… I read the premise of the way of life AND LOVED IT!! so I signed up for three months to see if I really like it…
NOW ISN”T THAT WEIRD? that I dreamed (or is it dreamT) of WEIGHTLOSS in the UK and then come across this little sentence on someone’s blog.. research and find this DIET WRITTEN FOR DA BELLA on the website? OMG… I really believe in stuff like that.. if any of our UK sistahs have heard of this way of eating, I would love to hear what you think!

Well, another week has passed and we are buuuuusy in Bellaland receiving new goodies, holding classes, running around like chickens without heads.. the usual..!
You’ll nevah believe what happened last night. So I was teaching a class and I decided to move my van closer to the door of the store… it was 5 steps away and I wanted to be 2 steps away..hmph. The parking lot was EMPTY I tell ya. E-M-P-T-Y. So I reverse and CRUNNNNNNNNNCH just at that moment a car with 2 LOVELY women in it (hi Gail and Sheila) decided to drive past my car and… out I got out of my car to the “crunchy” car and sure enough they were 2 new students coming to my class.. I almost fainted.. I felt SO badly.. See? that’s what happens when you are LAZY. and that’s what happens when you come to a class ON TIME.. I asked them why they couldn’t come to the class late?! LOL. All was ok in the end.. they were SO sweet and understanding…

So Ryan comes home yesterday and proudly shows off his new case for his Blackberry Torch called the OTTERBOX case. Has anyone heard of it? OMG ! So of course I immediately go on the hunt to find this case locally… i was MANIC.. I HAD TO FIND IT!!! So I see the black one at a local store and told Ryan about it and he said that he could find it cheaper at another local store.. so this is the convo

Second (which should be first) it is SO durable, cushioned for MAJOR impact (apparently you can fling it out a window and it will survive) etc.. You should check it out here

It is one of my FAVORITE stories (you know me and my children’s book obssession)… this is what I bought at Nicole’s shop on ETSY. I bought the pattern and can’t wait to start!! look where the poor little pea is..LOL
I know as a crafter most people are attracted to colours. I know I certainly am.. whether it be in paper, wool or fabric, the concept is the same.. WE LOVE COLOUR! LOL.. So Jayden went to school this morning but she left a little spelling page on the counter. When I looked at it, I could NOT help laughing my head off at her efforts…THIS has got to be one of the CUTEST things I have ever seen.. ok.. let’s take a look. My favorite is the “NUN” which I think was supposed to be HEN.. which really should be TURKEY..LOLOL.. I could just SQUOOSH her I swear.
Here is a picture of da babes togethah last saturday.. We had a blast YAPPING and COLOURING and GOSSIPING.. LOL.. crazy what happens when a bunch O women get togethah! I taught Paula how to press your tongue on top of your pallette to make you look THlimmer (slimmer per Tyler).. THAT is why our smiles are WEIRD.. LOL
