I hope you all had as a great a weekend as I had… Paulabella and Lindabella came to town to teach the local and not so local sistahs their secret or not so secret techniques.. LOL. Everybody had a blast. Linda and Paula came over on Saturday night and we got take out (i had my frozen something or other.. hmph) and we coloured and chatted and chatted and coloured and blabbed and chatted.. well you get the picture..LOL. Honestly it is so much fun when they come to town. Bellaland is aBUZZ with creativity and inspiration which is what this whole craft is all about no?

Hiya sistahs! Sorry for da late post.. it’s been a crazy and hectic day trying to prepare for da ARRIVAL of da BABES! Paulabella is arriving tonight with hubs JIM and Lindabella is arriving tomorrow afternoon.. that means we have all night to PLAY!!! WOOOOHOOOO! All the classes are full and I am so excited to be in Bellaland this weekend cuz there is SUCH a BUZZZZZZ when the classes happen.. it’s so much fun! you BETTAH be there for the next classes sistahs..LOL.
So I went to Jenny Craig today to get weighed in and I lost 4 pounds! Am I thrilled? NO CUZ I WANTED TO LOSE AT LEAST 86.5 this week but I will take the 4 🙂 It wasn’t that difficult and I was grateful that all the planning was done for me 🙂 (It’s funny, the second I gave birth to my children I asked the doctors if my placenta weight 85 pounds.. LOL) Will keep you posted about the weekly journey :).

I have tried the monthly releases… I am not that organized and I don’t enjoy the UNspontaneity of it…so I am gonna go back to my old ways and SURPRISSSSE you with new images… it could be every month, could be when I LOVE an image and must get it out (LOL), could be every week.. I am just gonna do them when I feel like making some rubbah. I think you will enjoy this way much bettah. I remember years ago where people would play hide and seek on da website and squeal with delight when they found a new image so that’s what we are gonna do. Hope you enjoy this way.. I think it will be fun! And yes, I will announce on da blog once an image is up so no worries.. you are not gonna miss ANYTHING.

Hiya sistahs! I hope you had a great weekend! So this was my first weekend on Jenny Craig and I must say I was VERY good. I listened, I ate, I was IN CONTROL. My worst “pecking” time is at night… TERRIBLE.. I dunno if it is habit, hunger or boredom (can’t be)… but I decided to keep my fingers BuSy. If they are BUSY then I don’t have to think about PECKING..LOL (just call me chickenbella). I sometimes color at night which I love to do but I wanted to try something new… I have been EYEING embroidery work on blogs.. have been drooling actually and decided I wanted to try so of course I bought every book known to man and learned nothing..LOL. I spoke to Ryan’s aunt who is an embroiderer (sp?) and she said that as long as you know a couple of stitches, don’t freak out and stress out that you need to know a kabillion. Just focus on a couple and then increase your repertoire 🙂 .. so that’s what I decided to do. And what better image to use than MAVIS HAS A DAISY! I love the idea of “HYBRIDING” a craft.. using your tools for different purposes. So I tried a couple of fabrics the other day to embroider on and I am just gonna test one more and I think I will carry the best one in da STORE.. just to play around with and see what you can do. I am now OFFICIALLY addicted and how great is it that you can use what you have! (I stamped it using BLACK INDIA ink which I will have in da shop soon) So while sipping my BANANA NUT BREAD tea (THE YUMMIEST.. actually the blend looks EDIBLE), I came up with this. I can’t believe I am showing you this sample because Jayden decided to admire it with AVOCADO on her hands. HMPH.. so please disregard the stain 🙂 (LOL).. Also I have learned a lot from this first attempt.. this fabric (muslin) is way too thin.. or the next one I will try to line it with batting so that you can’t see the threads through it… Lots of things learned, PLUS A STAIN but hey… that’s me… imperfection at it’s best! WE MUST EMBRACE IMPERFECTION sistahs!

I did lots of stuff and I wasn’t gonna tell anyone but I kinda made this deal with myself.. to share more about ME.. you’ve been with me for so long, that I feel like I don’t even have any secrets..LOL. So as you must know.. I am always struggling with my weight.. up, down, sideways, vertically..LOL So today I decided to commit to Jenny Craig.
