good morning sistahs!  It is 6:30 AM and i am lying in bed with my laptop actually on my LAP.  The house is quiet… (not for long).. soon my kidlets will be waking up and I will be hearing a SCREAMING SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS from the other room (don’t get me started on that show .. I really don’t understand what it’s about..LOL).  Soon the morning activities will begin… toothbrushing, hairbrushing, picking out clothes, approving picked out clothes, breakfast requests, boots, snowpants mittens, hats.. you get the picture.  so I am going to try to get this entry in while it is still quiet…….

I am SOOOOO excited for this weekend.  Paula and Linda are coming in today!!  They are teaching all weekend in bellaland.  Paula is staying with me! (yay I have a pajama craft party all to myself) and Linda has her hubs for the weekend but we will all “bond” in the store tomorrow.. sooo excited!!

Ok Floridians.. WHUDDUP with da WEATHAH? OMG.. (p.s. I miss my sistahs hmph)
It is COLD here.. I mean, I COME from cold weather.. I wanted to come to SUNNY HOT weathah.. not so much. We arrived on friday and wore our down jackets for 2 days..LOL but we are HAVING FUN! How fun was that?!  So what’s new in your neckadawoods (new word)?  It’s snowing here.. ho hum.  I am trying to pack for FLLLLOOOOORIDA.  We are leaving on Friday in the middle of da night for 10 days..  I am excited to go and the kidlets are counting down da SLEEPS.  We have not had a vacay in sooo long!!!!  My mom is already there asking me what she needs to buy us to eat and fill our fridge.. (grrrrrr…) and she has already put me on some sort of regime that I must walk with her every morning for 40 minutes (double grrrrrr…)… I don’t know HOW I can explain to her that i just wanna read books and surf the net and blog and journal.  She doesn’t get it.  Oops and spend time with my family did I forget that important part?

I am reading an AMAZING book.. loving every minute of it but I am such a slow reader.  It’s called “THE HELP” by  Kathryn Stockett and I just bought the new Kristin Hannah novel “True Colors”.  She wrote FIREFLY LANE and I LOOOOVED that book. Have you read anything lately that you can recommend?  I love getting ideas and peoples opinions etc.  so let me know!

Ok, now for the next question.. WHAT AM I GONNA WEAR IN FLORIDA?  OMG… thank goodness it is cool so I don’t have to SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE into anything uncomfortable and THANK GOOODNESSS there is a washing machine cuz then I can wear my favorites all the time..LOL!

We got JAPANESE MASKING TAPES IN!! (these make me so happy you have no IDEAR) and we got all the new Cosmo Cricket lines in the store (Material Girl, Garden Variety and Joyride).. YUM! there was some CRAZY pushing and shoving going on here.. OMG.. I almost even fainted!!

and here are some examples of fun things you can do with the tape as well.. dress up a simple lunch bag!  Tape an envelope sealed.. decorate a glassine envelope.. YUMMM

you can identify your tools/art supplies with the tape by wrapping a piece around it.. dress up your agenda, a spice jar.. OMG!

here we go again about INANIMATE objects and products that I adore.  Sistahs, as you all know (if you know me by now or if you are new, you will get to know me rather quickly..LOL as I am not that difficult to figure out!)

Remember THESSSSE? Well they are about to HAUNT YOU AGAIN!

So let’s discuss some blog candy here…..  I was recently contacted by the owner/creator of the HAND DRYING gloves, Patti Coyne.  I discussed these gloves  in this post.  Patti is from one of my favorite Toronto HOT SPOTS in terms of product called Delineation.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this store.. they have all the newest hottest must-have products!  Ok, I may sound redundant.. LOL but have I mentioned how much I LOOOOVE these gloves?  I really really love them and TRUST ME.. if I no LIKEY something, I TELL-Y.. and if I LOOOVEY something, I TELL-Y TOO and force people to buy it..LOL.  A lot of people have been asking me what products I use in my hair (curly).  I use a product call CURL KEEPER and the whole line of curl care products from www.frizzoff.com .  I actually get my hair cut at the creator’s salon… they obviously specialize in curly hair products.  TRUST ME SISTAHS, I have tried it ALL.  I am a makeup, purse, wallet, moleskine, any agenda, pen, hair product DIVA..LOL.  The website for the hair products is rather flashy LOL.. There is a “technique” in how to saturate your locks in Curl Keeper and you may think it is crazy that there is a technique but please watch the videos and you will THANK me!

So this is the scoop. Patti sent me some gloves to give out as BLOGGY CANDY to all of da curly haired sistahs out there!  I have 3 PAIRS to give away to 3 lucky winnahs!  BUTTTT you gotta work for it.  Since I am a product Diva, I need to know what product- whatever it is- that you CANT LIVE WITHOUT! So I now can’t live without these gloves.  I also don’t wear much makeup but I love this new eye shadow I got from MAC called NAKED LUNCH.. i put it all over my lid and leave! it’s YUMMY!

I also love SHU UEMURA eyebrow pencil.  Now I don’t really like the look of an eyebrow pencil.. but this is magical.  it only goes on when it touches your brow.. just a little tint and hue.. LOVE IT.. and you MUST ask them to sharpen it the japanese way with a razor blade.. it’s amazing.
