This is just karma!! I have an old roladex (just 10 years old) that I used just out of college but found I never really used it for you know the bussiness contact thing, yet I have never been able to throw it out. Despite moving 2 times in those last 10 years I just kept shuffling it around in my craft stash hateing to “waste it” as only a couple of the cards had been written on. Now I have so many ideas from all of you I just have to dig it out and get going!!! ( OF course now that I actually want to use it I won’t be able to find it!!LOL!! Thanks Em and everyone else for all the neat ideas and inspiration!!!

I DO lovey the idea!! I just happen to have a rolodex lying around in my craft room that I was going to use to catalog my dies, but it’s turning into a scrapodex now! Thanks so much for the inspiration!!

Love it! What a brilliant, creative idea! Oh no, I promised myself not to start any new “creative outlets” (hubby calls them hobbies)…but I did have my fingers crossed!!! I have a binder full of small scraps of paper that I refuse to throw out so this would put them to good use….there – justified!!!

Love it. I’ve seen these done as inspirational items with quotes or bible verses on each card. I’ve also seen them used as stamp indexes. I’m taking a class where we were supposed to make swatch books of all our coloring mediums. I kept thinking that I needed one for all the different types of paper I might use my colors on. This would be a great way to do that. You could put a hunk of watercolor paper and bella’s best (my 2 main papers) on a card and voila you know what your color looks like on each one! I’m off next week – this may turn into a project

Just had a lightbulb moment. Lets say you found a vintage Rolodex that no longer had the A to Z tabs. You could create tabs using the months of the year. Anything that inspires you that month, slap it in there. Brilliant. Your Welcome.
