Aside from stamping.. I love painting, and COLLAGE… oh how I love collage.  There is nothing more catharctic than finding just the right piece to fit in just the right place… the thought involved, the colour… the cutting.  I really love it.  if you haven’t tried your hand at collage , I highly recommend it!  From magazines, to vintage ephemera, the process for me is still the same.  When I am surrounded with my scraps, I am the happiest .. You can even stamp papers and incorporate that into your collage.  Hopefully I will get my act together and create a video for you to see what my bliss is..LOL

So in case you have not noticed, I have put a new tab to the left called “original artwork”.. After much convincing by my supporters, I have decided to post some of my artwork for sale.  Please don’t get me wrong.. I don’t want to sell any of it..LOL but on the other side of the coin, I would love to share my joy with others.. and have something that I touched that made me so very happy creating and have someone else enjoy it just as much as I did creating it

I  have posted 2 framed collages I have made.. all from vintage ephemera.. all one of a kind, made and signed by me .. A cluster of these on a wall would look phenom…

Hiya sistahs!  Long time no speak!  Well, I am slowly seeing the light and trying to grab stolen moments to get back into the blog, and creating without paint LOL

would love to see your creations too!

So I took our LIFE IS GOOD stamp by Diane Duda.. I just LOVE this stamp.. makes me happy and sometimes we all need a little reminder

First I got a new AGENDA/PLANNER.. don’t roll your eyes ok?  I LOOOVE this one so much and will get into a post on that one too.. but to give you a little taste, you can look at it here.. it’s called THE SUCCESS CHOICE.. LOVE.  but more on that later n’k?

I wanted to create a first page in there that would just remind me of the simple things.. of how life IS good and to keep remembering that.  So every time I open my binder.. this is what I see   I can collage on it, I can write notes on it.. or I can just leave it as is and let it do it’s work and relate it’s message to me

I used Faber Castell watercolor pencils here.. so simple yet so lovely

Then I took it a bit further and decided to dabble with what I would give my kid’s teachers this year as gifts.. and I thought little note cards would be so perfect!  We can decorate with our stash of washi tape.. we can go to the dollar store and buy a cute binder clip and clip them together… add envelopes.. no envelopes..whatever tickles your fancy .  What I also love to do is use parts of the image.. you don’t need the whole thing stamped.. or stamp different angles or portions of the stamp to make a cute little set!

This is a new solvent I found and used for the first time to blend my pencils and i LOOOVE it! It smells fabby dabby and it is eco friendly!

Hiya sistahs!  Hope you had a great week.. I am just trudging along.. working.. painting.. organizing.. hmph.  It’s a lethal combo I tell ya!

So I am skipping AJ toosday this week but it’s back on next week as a “FREE FOR ALL”.. so you can submit anything at all.. just make it colourful to cheer me up n’k?

This is the latest piece I have been working on.. and by popular demand, I will be starting a section on this website for my artwork for sale.. although I cannot part with any of them.. just sayin’.  there are many many layers here.. paint, collage, more paint, penwork.. and more paint etc.. she was an absolute joy to work on.. and there is another one coming very soon

oh and I wanted to mention too that our very own PAULABELLA has FINALLY opened an etsy shop!! you can find her gorgeous work here
