Hiya sistahs!  Sorry I have been a bit MIA.. yesterday’s post never made it because LIFE got in the way of PROJECT LIFE..LOL.. and that happens… I have been secretly beating myself up but I am over it.. I will work on it when I can.. which will probably be today cuz I can’t take it anymore..LOL..

So I decided to introduce you to my new friend Ryan found for me…

Let me ‘splain.

Before we moved into our new home, Ryan PROMISED me my dream craft room.. remember?  ok so I got the room with racking and even a BAFROOM and a SHOWAH! (will take pics when it is nice and clean.. which will probably be NEVAH).. anyway, since I like to do MESSY stuff, I don’t wanna do it in my CRAFT room because the CRAFT room has become a place to house the crafts and for me to work on project life.  So SLOOOOOWLY…. every so SLOOOOOOWLY.. I EXPANDED into the main part of the basement.. we had our old dining room table which became a craft table for Jayden and I in the old house.. we COULDN’t throw it out right?  so it came to the basement.. I said to ryan. why have the TABLE in the BASEMENT if I can’t USE it thankyouverymuch.  He didn’t respond.. LOL.  So out came my easel and my paints (the messy stuff) and within minutes, the whole table had stuff all over it (you know how it is..) so I needed a “friend”… a friend who could help me “declutter”.. who could “house” my necessities and help me clear off my table…  so here he is.  Meet “GEORGE”..LOL (I just named him for effect…LOL).. idn’t he cute?  The top was meant to hold my Vagabond or my sewing machine but oh well.. may need a George Junior soon… He is a Rubbermaid Mobile Work station and is on wheels!  *love*.

here is one of the drawers open.. I keep all of my crayons.. stencils.. stuff I use all the time so G-D forbid I should get this arse up and get it..LOL

How CUTE is he? hmmmm?  A HOTTIE I tell ya. (I am a bit demented aren’t I.. I love the word demented.. it really has an effect no?)

And since Ryan couldn’t take all my artwork on the floor, he decided to build a shrine and put all of my finished and unfinished pieces on the wall to inspire me.. it makes me SOOO VERRY HAPPY…  here’s a little portion of DA WALL

Hiya journaling sistahs and journaling lurkers

This week’s theme was TISSUE paper… crumpled, glued, glazed, layered.. you name it

Now the first tool I would like to stress as important for collage, gluing things down, sealing is a GOOD GLUE.  you must arm yourselves with one.  After trying a kajillion +10 brands, I really go back to the same one.. my PPA.  Now I ALWAYS say that you must invest in good tools to achieve good results .  Every week I will post a couple of my favorite tools so that I can enable you a little more n’k?  PPA matte after it dries looks like there is nothing there and your papers are sealed and protected.. it’s really AMAZIN-K.

So there you have it.. different ways to journal with tissue paper!! I LOVE the entries!!  Please keep sending them!! (can I put more !!!!!!’s?)

Now NEXT WEEK’S THEME is DOODLING.  Oh, the doodle.. grab a pen and just scribble.. draw a circle.. then another circle around it.. then scallops around that… oh did I hear dots?  SURRRRE.. add some dots!   That’s the evolution of a doodle!  Swirls, Flourishes, Circles, Shapes.. doodles you draw while on the phone..  stick it in your journal!

Here’s another expense   ready?  I have tried ALL pens… I am LOVING the SAKURA MICRON pens right now.. I have THIS set which has a variety of nibs.. it’s AMAZING!  PERMANENT! WATERPROOF! FADEPROOF!!  I LOVE IT! (great for journaling and doodling.. not the best for drawing over acrylic)   And now for THE BEST WHITE PEN HANDS DOWN? the UNIBALL UM-153 in WHITE! FANTASTICALLY AMAZING..

Sistahs..  OK… so aside from my stamping and embroidery addiction, the creation of new stamps, tools etc I also love MAKEUP as you may all know… hmph.  So I took a little break from a BiZzy day and went shopping cuz I needed some FOUNDATION for my face… WELL.. the foundation turned into a bit of a spree

Someone once told me that NARS foundation was great.. so that is where I started..LOL.. and continued.. and continued…

So here is what I bought and what I ADORE..

(1) NARS FOUNDATION (SHEER GLOW)– leaves a gorgeous DEWY texture

(2) NARS ORGASM blush (that’s the COLOUR ladies)- one sold every 4 seconds in the world- that and the BRONZER I use.. NARS LAGUNA

(3) NEW COLOUR LIPSTICK called CHRISTINA (not 100% sure about this one)  I am used to such drabby lipstick colours.. this actually has a bit of OOMPH.. so gonna try it out!

(4) new goldish lipgloss… YUM!  NARS called MOONFLEET

(5) KIEHLS- SUPERFLUID UV DEFENSE SPF 50 to put on over my moisturizer

(6) CLARINS concealer

(7) BOBBI BROWN GEL EYELINER in CAVIAR (LOOOVE THIS)

(8) and a new brush FOR THE GEL EYELINER (goes on like BUDDAH)

(9) BOBBI BROWN BRONZER BRUSH (LOOOVE)

(10) LASH FUSION XL MASCARA-  looking for a new one.. anyone with SUGGESTIONS?

AND THEN I BOUGHT AN EYE CREAM..  a new one from KIEHLS.. AVOCADO TREATMENT.. sounds LUSCIOUS but when I came home this is what was on it .. ONLY I would be the one coming home with a TESTER.. grrrr.. so now I have to wait til a new one comes in the mail

I also bought THIS eye cream.   And I HAVE NOT STOPPED TEARING since..LOL.. my eyes are dripping.  so this is a real NO NO for moi. (but I gave it to Dena to see if she likes it )

So that is my list of thingies bought.. aren’t they yummy?  and I am SOOOO BEEEYYOOOOOTIFUL right now..LOL

I am OFF to MICHIGAN to visit Paulabella tomorrow for some girly time and to hang out and SHOP for some black friday specials!! And LINDABELLA is joining us on Friday!
